According to imdb.com, filming has begun on "Lucky Stiff" with Mary Jo Catlett and Jayne Houdeyshell in smaller parts.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2404593/

I think that LUCKY STIFF was a better idea for a musical; than it is a musical.

All of the actors that I know who ave done the show has had a terrific time doing the show.  I don't often get that same response from audience members (no offense, John).

Both my online dealers are going to not be happy very soon.  One, the fellow who now runs Footlight, ordered a whopping twenty-five copies.  Keep in mind that this guy has sold hundreds of EACH of our show title but he does this all the time and this time he's going to learn his lesson, I think, because when he sells that twenty-five in two minutes I'm not going to give him anymore - why should I?  He gets them at the wholesale rate and I'd rather hang onto them and sell them for full price.  The other dealer has also sold hundreds of each of our show titles - he's never ordered that many, but reorders almost every week - it's going to be the same deal with him.  I tried to explain to him that Follies is the Star Trek of shows, but he's not hearing it.  He'll wish he had.

How many orders did you end up with today?

2-5, and there was no phone call. It's rescheduled for Monday afternoon.

Certainly half the run has already gone, which isn't bad for less that twenty hours of being available, and six of those hours were in the middle of the night.

Printing, printing, printing.  That has been my day.  We have had over seven hundred orders so far - amazing.  The poor helper might have to hire a helper to get this one shipped.  And the day is young, which is more than I can say.

I mailed my check/order yesterday afternoon. You should get it by tomorrow or Saturday or Monday at the latest. I hope there will be copies left by tomorrow, Saturday or Monday.

When I cancelled my haircut this morning, I had no idea just how deep today's fresh hell was going to be! I think I'm up to my neck now.

1. we know the one FedEx carton was delivered today; it did not go to the correct address.
2.  the second Fed Ex carton is sitting in Dublin waiting for Customs to clear itn and the commercial invoice I faxed toFed Ex this morning has been faxed to Dublin. Hopefully it will bereleased tomorrow or Monday. Total bullshit.
3.  the schedule for the sixrecording sessions is frozen.
4.  Time Warner blew it.

I'm waiting for the next problem to land.

Someone just posted this on another site from 1989, a Sally Struthers fitness video, which is really cute, but note how much she mugs for the camera when she gets her pulse taken and really adorable how, for a video about the benefits of walking, she seems to take every opportunity possible to sit her butt down on a bench and shmooze for a  while:

Morning all!  I as very tired last night.  One of the meds I was taking said it could make you drowsy well, it sure did.

Think I figured out what caused it--the shake called Glucerna.  I thought it would be good for me because of the diabetes but when I read up on it last night, it is know to cause hives, horrible gas, stomach pains, diarrhea and swellings.  I guess I was lucky I got away with what I did.  Needless to say, I will NOT be drinking it any more!

I suppose it wasn't stated in large print.  :(  At least you know the cause of your reaction.

I am hungry. But good news. I have bagels, cream cheese and lox. Yummy!

At our reunion I had a treat of an egg bagel.  I also had a little lox and cream cheese on my good Jewish rye bread.  I ate the bagel plain.

BK - could you verify that my paypal payment got applied properly to ordering the FOLLIES CD?  I actually had to type that in for some reason, which I don't recall having to do for other orders.

I told her I would certainly follow her wishes BUT that I would NOT sell her two seats.  I will give the curtain speech and look at that seat, and imagine that she is there.

Here is a picture of Miss Vickie and myself from 1982....."backstage" at THE SOUND OF MUSIC....we were performing on an outdoor stage, and our dressing rooms were in the small barn....and our green room was the backyard.....

Vickie was wearing a lovely powder blue jumper....and my pants were the same color....

We are home from a delightful day at the World Choir Games in Cincinnati.  This morning, at the wonderful Aronoff Center for the Performing Arts, we saw 5 show choirs - Ball State University (Indiana), Colerain High School (Cincinnati area), Bahamas, Venezuela, and Loveland High School (Cincinnati area).  Our group is sitting in the section in front of the people you can see standing in the back on the lowest level:
