Well, tonight I'm off to my friends' house to see Abraham Lincoln vs. The Zombies on their patio movie screen (aka a sheet attached to the side of their garage).  Not sure if I'll actually stay for the movie, but I told the host I'd show up if he baked me a birthday cake....well, I don't know if they are going to do that, but I better go just in case they do

LOL  Have fun.

If you don't show up the host will say a cake was baked even if it wasn't ;)

Home from camp.  I think I need a nap.  I'm definitely on theatre overload.  My brain hurts.

Tonight the DP and I are going to a German Beer Garden to soak up some culture before our trip in a few weeks.  I kinda just want to sleep.  But, we've been putting it off for a while.

Enjoy the Beer Garden after your hard day at camp.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a Laptop computer and a Memory Laptop computer?  Both are HP and they look the same.  I tried reading all the junk incuded, but I got lost.

Tom, I can't find anything called a Memory Laptop Computer, even when I search on that phrase specifically.  I've gone to the HP site and I can't find anything called a Memory Laptop. Do you just have printed material or is there a site you're looking at that I'm not finding?

I get lots of sites about both memory and laptops but nothing for a "Memory Laptop Computer"

Thanks, Danise and Cillaliz.

Mom says this was the best birthday that she has had in years. Someone told her they thought she was 60, not 85, so that certainly appealed. She and Dad went with my sister and nephew to their favorite Chinese restaurant and ate too much, which always makes her happy.

She is also grateful for all the birthday wishes from those people I "see" on the Internet.

The rain storm when I left work was so great that I had to duck into a nearby Indian grocery for an hour while it raged and flashed and thundered. Water was deeper than a half foot on the streets and cars everywhere were getting stranded.

I get home, which is 12 miles away, and we had no rain. Go figure.

Discovered last night that we now get MeTV. I have set my DVR to regularly record LOVE AMERICAN STYLE, THE ROGUES and THE MOD SQUAD.

This morning I watched an episode of GET SMART, something that I have not done since I was a little kid. Darn funny show, but I am going to avoid it for the time being as I don't need to get hooked on anything else.

I have been taking some cute photos of Kitty but have no idea how to post them.  I know, I wasn't paying attention cuz I didn't need it at the time.  I think I was still managing to do it the old way.

We have so many talented people here.  Is there anyone who could volunteer to fix the problem for Bruce?

Jane, your Sam is featured in a fun musical number staged to "Dance to the Music" in an episode called "The Coup." Great fun.

Again, the actors for the most part are keeping it fun.

Home now.  Didn't make it to the Beer Garden as it was way to crowded.  We ended up at a British Gastro Pub, which was awesome.  We had scotch eggs, which while they were a bit on the salty side, were yummy.   The rest of the food and beer was great.  Nice finish to a decent day.

DR Jennifer, I watched the first night of BIG BROTHER and enjoyed it quite a lot. I also think the "coaching" aspect will add some fun to the competition. And there are certainly some interesting personalities competing.

:o It started raining hard here in the Tumwater/Olympia area a little more than an hour ago and it's just starting to let up...there has been thunder and lightning like I haven't seen in YEARS!

And now, it's not lightning, thundering OR raining at all.

Very strange.
