Long story short, Chris and Beth were able to get Ruby back ...as Chris puts it  "before the street lights came on"

It was funny, while we were sitting outside their house, several people walked by and said "Are you the people who lost the dog?  Have you found her yet?"  Then there would be a cheer when the good news was shared.  It was quite fun.

I stayed and had pizza and a couple beers with Chris and Beth.  I haven't spent time with them in ages. It was really a good time.

I am sleepy.  I had a good time, but I did miss the patio moving showing of Midnight Cowboy tonight.  It was worth it.

FJL - one of the passersby asking about Ruby was out walking her Corgi.  I thought of the boys.   There are a lot of corgis in Sioux City, at least it seems that way. I think of the boys every time I see one
