Since I refuse to pay for the online version of our local paper I only read the headlines ;D

Jane, do you get a few articles free before you have to pay to read it?

Yes but I try to be selective in case I want to read something later on.
I do the same and end up reading all the rest at the end of the month.

Me want pancakes, too.

Today, I went to my sister's and she made me some very delicious pancakes.  She and her daughter had some earlier in the day (actual breakfast time), but I didn't go over until the early afternoon, so it was more like a breakfast for lunch.  Very good. :D

So, why is there a need to have a film version of "Memphis"?

http://www.theatermania.com/new-york-city-theater/news/10-2012/tony-winner-memphis-to-hit-the-big-screen_63334.html

There, of course, doesn't need to be...there just can be. ::)

Yeah, but couldn't we get a film of something better? I mean, even "Road Show" is better than "Memphis."

So, I have a couple of Jimmy Fallon specials on my DVR that I'm now recording to my DVD burner so that I can delete them and have actual DVDs.  The first, original broadcast in February, "The Best of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," was a bunch of music segments, most were spoofs or funny songs, etc.  The second one that I'm watching now is called "Jimmy Fallon's Primetime Music Special."  The problem is that I've gotten about 25 minutes in and EVERYTHING was on the first special...the first six, count 'em, SIX songs were duplicated!  What's that all about?

Okay...they just finally have a new song.  I think I'll put the two shows on one disc and delete the duplicates.

I have to say that Jimmy Fallon is really good at this kind of thing.  I've enjoyed everything, but I just don't need to repeat any of them.

Also saw Looper last week.   That was really really really good.

Good to hear.

I want to see that.  I like Joseph Gordon-Levitt and time travel movies.  Put the two together and I'm there. :)

I am trying to imagine F A L L I N G at the speed of sound.....

I watched the jump live today.  Pretty incredible.  A 24 mile high freefall.

I watched some of the jump on YouTube.  Amazing.  The Miracle of Modern Technology.

I might have liked the 3 Way more if I wasn't in such serious pain today.  My entire back (not just the lower back) is killing me.  I can barely move without stabbing pains.  Once I get some posts up, I am going to take two pills and call myself in the morning.

The local paper here is The Olympian.  It's free.  They do have an e-edition for $5.95 a month that's just like the print edition.

So did "Raisin." Where's the movie of that?
