T.O.D.

I don't know of any great classics that haven't been released.  So I guess:

HAVE ROCKET WILL TRAVEL starring The Three Stooges
WAIT TILL THE SUN SHINES, NELLIE (I don't think it is available)

I need to go see a community theater production next weekend.  Hopefully next Sunday.  There are several good friends in the show, plus my physical therapist.

Good grief.  We are only a couple of weeks away from Veteran's Day.  After that, there is no stopping time until New Year's Day.  How depressing.

There are 50 Guests here at the site, but not one of them is reading today's posts.   I often wonder who all these guests are. Fans?  Groupies?  Or maybe someone interested in BK instead of me.

Annette's daughter is certainly having a party across the street, after their renovation work on the house that has lasted three annoying months while they lived elsewhere.  And the neighbor to the north had a party this afternoon.  I'm having a party, too - sitting here like so much fish.  Oh, forgot to mention, I did a three-mile jog - was feeling adventurous.

Imagine whole groups getting together to read all of Ginny's posts for the last week.  Or maybe elmore"s posts.  Or maybe Ron's.

LOL!  Obviously my three hour nap was not long enough.

Good for you!  Still it makes me nervous when people jog alone after dark.

I am sorry that MattH and BK did not get a chance to chat.  It probably wouldn't have changed anything, but still, you never know.

I am surprised that Annette's daughter did not invite me to her party.

The San Francisco Giants have won the first three World Series games.  The whole thing could be over tomorrow.

Boo hasn't been limping today.  I think her arm is better.  That's a relief

Back!

Yes, I said:  BACK!

Isn't it amazing how quickly one travels from left coast to right, in less than five hours?  And how long those less than five hours can seem after the third hour or so?

This article says we get an average of 6 political ads per hour in Sioux City, but I'm not sure that counts the congressional and state races.

The presidential candidates have spent $29 million just on the Sioux City market.  We're not that big a market and I don't know anyone who watches them.

Friend met me at JFK and we did some Panic Shopping with the other sheep at Shop Rite and a couple of other places, all of whose shelves had already been picked clean of spring water and D cells and the other usual suspects.

We're all fairly well prepared for a big storm here, but I think we're going to get the usual dying end of a hurricane up here, and little more.  (Posted the raven, little more...)

Seriously, if it turned out that this was to be anything like last year's Halloween Nor'Easter, I'd be pretty concerned.  But I think we're okay here in these here parts.

This morning I waved as I passed over the DR JRand62/DR Ginny corridor on my way from left to right.
