And now, "Nothing Sacred." I haven't seen this one in years. Very funny.

Makes the work I have to do much more enjoyable.

You see, darling elmore - I go about my business.  Some of my business I choose to talk about (most things) and some is, well, my business.  You will also note that I have never in all the years of HHW talked about my romantic life.  But you see, this response of yours is why I wrote today's notes - the attitude behind these kinds of comments is what I've been reading on Facebook and elsewhere for over six months now.  You know not what I am doing this day in terms of what you speak of and what I may or may not have done on previous days.  T'ain't nobody's business but my own.

I think there is a big difference between talking about who you voted for vs telling someone if you voted.

Why?

Because not wanting to discuss your political views is different from not voting.

Why?  Both involve politics.  My voting has nothing to do with anyone but me.  If you can show me otherwise, feel free.  As with most people, what I do and don't do and what I choose to share in regards to that is between me, myself, and I.  I don't ask people if they voted - what do I care?  People do what people do, it's their business not mine.

After all of those posts yesterday, I decided to run over to the grocery store today to pick up some Tater Tots.  Wouldn't you know it?   Tater Tots are being rationed and they are using the odd and even system.  Today was an "even" day, and for some reason, they decided I was odd.

I went to the grocery store at noon today and the tater tots that were on sale were all gone!!!   I did find some that weren't on sale and picked up the other ingredients so I can eat tater tot casserole as the returns come in

Obviously, Cilla, then you must be even.

I voted two weeks ago via mail-in ballot.  I actually walked it over to the Registrar of Voters office to save postage.   We had a cut-off date for mailing ballots in and it was sometime last week, IIRC.

I dropped my ballot at the Tumwater City Hall drop box...just half a block from where I live.  In Washington state, everything is mail-in ballots.  There are no actual voting places here anymore.  The problem in Washington is that the ballots just have to be postmarked by today.  They can be received over the next several days, so our results may not be "official" until later in the week.

One of our candidates for governor said this evening that he doesn't expect the new governor to be named before the end of the week.

Pasteurized Processed Cheese Food  - I just read the box.

That is a mouthful to describe "poser" cheese.

In Tacoma, we sell Velveeta in the gourmet section.

Well, I'm heading home...finally.  You'd think that with the time change, I'd want to get out earlier, but it's just not been happening.  Oh, well.

Until later. :)

DR ELMORE - that is unfortunate about Mrs Bolger.....I wonder if she wielded her power during ALL AMERICAN as well....

The afternoon I spent with Ray Bolger, he was a total delight, but no Mrs. Bolger in the picture.  He certainly went out of his way to charm and delight my young niece.

Bruce why didn't you knock on the rude woman's window & point to the line of cars she was blocking?

In Tacoma, knocking on a car window could get you shot.  Seriously!

You can get a dozen sent from Stan's by Fex Ex.  I think I read the FedEx charge was $56.00.  Ouch!

Watching a movie I've never seen before because I'll obviously be able to write more informed liner notes after I've actually seen it :)  It's pretty good.  That's the good thing about amazon prime - you can watch any movie you want for free on their site.

I can!   Why didn't I know that?

Why?

Well, Bruce, Donald Trump has said that he has never seen your birth certificate; so there is no proof that you are an American.  Saying that you voted today would force Trump to shut up!
