TOD

REEL-TO-REEL (yes) - Miles Davis, Sketches of Spain.

BLU - LEON MORIN, PRIEST and FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET.  How's that for a double feature?

One more thing about the former:  There were, indeed, three Gozzi sisters, and all of them played the same girl at different ages in this film.  Patricia was in seven films (one was a TV production), Chantal was in five, and Marielle in two.

Not only was I running late this morning, but there was an accident on my route to work. So I took another route. And there was an accident on it, too.

I'm up after yet another night of not enough sleep.  I have got to catch up again.  It does look like we had another LA rainfall of about forty seconds.  We had that last night, too, when we went to Jerry's.  Very congested this morning, which, I think, is due to these insane daily weather changes.

My friend Jerry Waters who is a great Frances Farmer fan attended a preview of the revival of GOLDEN BOY on November 9th.....at the same theatre where it originally played in 1937.....The Belasco.

He took lots of photos of the theatre and posters, etc....and sent me a Playbill.  I certainly would like to see this show....the cast includes Danny Burstein, Jonathan Hadary, Anthony Crivello, and Seth Numrich as Joe and Yvonne Strohavski as Lorna.

Official opening is December 6!

Jerry put the photos into a nice bound book for me....very nice!

There are some students who are REQUIRED to attend THE CRUCIBLE and it is absolute agony for them, so they text and TALK throughout the evening....  There is also some laughter at strange times during the play....  We have decided that someone should be dragged onstage and accused of witchcraft and then should be dragged backstage never to be seen again.....

Because tonight the show will be attended by the College Theatre Festival adjudicator, and the evening will end with his/her notes.....and tomorrow night is closing night and STRIKE....we had a party last night at a local pizza place....Mama Nunz.  It was most enjoyable.

Mr David Cryer talked a bit about his experiences of playing Firmin in Phantom for 19 years on the road and then on Broadway.  He said that one night the pyrotechnics that usually go off in the Phantom's lair - all seven of them - suddenly went off during the MASQUERADE number....   He said the audience loved it!  He also had some rather ribald lyrics to his songs that he sang for us.....  And also proceeded to do Mr. Danforth as the Swedish Chef.....

Ratiocinations generally don't present themselves as disbosomings, but they can be.  On the other hand, it would be nearly impossible for a ratiocination to be an eructation.

Isn't that right across the street from Papa Priestz?

Can someone PLEASE answer the question: Is Les Miz being released on Christmas Day?

As JRand said, and as this article (found by Googling "Les Miz release date") confirms, it's December 25th.

Honestly, do you people believe everything you read on the World Wide Web?

This thing needs to be properly researched.

Universal scheduled it for December 14th and then moved it to December 25th.

Maybe it won't street until 2013.

Surgery vibes for Fr. Richard.

Thanks, DR JRand!

The procedure is complete and was not as complicated as expected.  Richard is still pretty groggy, but seems to be waking up.
