We watched Broadway Melody of 1940.

There was a feature with Ann Miller about the movie and Cole Porter. It was fun to watch.

There was a TERRIBLE (IMHO) Our Gang short called The Big Premiere. A (very) young Robert Blake was in the cast. I was never a fan of The Little Rascals or Our Gang (is anyone surprised?).
I love that movie, but I hate the woman who sings "Begin the Beguine." Or  at least the way she sings it.

Yes, Vixmom, that joy is amazing, and I hope yours is contagious in your area, so that more can bring help where it's needed.

It's contagious over the Internet.

When the food is on the table, Toby and Dylan are singing BEGIN THE BEGGING

The MGM Our Gang shorts are some of the worst things ever......

And when Darla left and Janet came in.....whew....that charmless creature with her too short dresses was just irritating to watch....and Spanky and Alfalfa began to wear on the nerves as well....

And Bobby Blake was always CRYING about something.....ugh

I'm up after a wonderful night's sleep - got up around ten-thirty and just stayed in bed.  It appears that our rainy season (one day) is done.

Possible T.O.D. (Topic of Discussion, not Topic of the Day)

It is Thanksgiving Day, you are at some familiar place for dinner.  It can be  your childhood home, a relative's home, or maybe even your current home.  Wherever you are all the food sitting on the table is perfect (mom, for once, did not burn the mashed potatoes).  Suddenly time freezes for everyone in the house, but you.  You are now free to sit down and pig out on one item on the Thanksgiving table, with no guilt, no repercussions, and no calories.

What is the one dish you pig out on?

Good answer, JRand.

I'm not a big fan of Thanksgiving dinner. It's all a big heap of dead food to me. But when I lived in Florida, my friends would get really excited by it all and would have a big feast. On the invited list was our friend Nirmala, who is originally from India and a strict vegetarian. She would make five or six of her favorite dishes and bring those, too, so the house was filled with magical smells and plenty of love. Among the dishes she would always make was an egg curry, which she wouldn't eat, but it featured eggs in a truly spicy sauce. I loved it from the moment I tasted it, That would be the dish I'd scarf down in an instant.

Back from a Cobb salad.  This day does not seem to know what it wants to be, weather-wise.

I've been uploading season one's episodes to Broadway World and the major press release will hit tomorrow.  If you're a subscriber to our You Tube channel, I've gotten B'way World to implement the same function on their site - our own channel to which you can subscribe and get notification of updates and new episodes.  So, it will work exactly as You Tube works.

Back from shopping for a little of this, a little of that.  Well, mostly that.

Hungry.  And thirsty.  And...on the same page as this morning!?

I've been thinking about dinner, since all I've had today is one hardboiled egg.
