Ginny -  I hope you enjoy  England  I am so jealous!!

Well, DR Vixmom, we're still in Newark.  They got us all on the plane and discovered an HVAC malfunction, which they tried to fix while we waited.  They finally decided that the plane could not go to London tonight, so we're now at another gate waiting for a replacement.  Richard has gone to find us something to eat.

There is a History channel program about Odysseus on the TV -  the narrator just said that Odysseus needed to get back to Ithaca....I had no idea he was a native New Yorker!!

Yes, he moved from Athens, Georgia.

Maybe I should get them in different colors.  The bottom photo is of my friend in the Netherlands dog when he was a pup.  Now that he is all grown up he is one good looking dog.  If we could have one just like him I doubt we could refuse.  He had two "flaws" (like Sherlock's blue eye was a "flaw") or he would have been a show dog.

Darn, I never noticed the shirts came in different colors.  The Sherlock Christmas one would have been really pretty in the red or green vs the black.

Just ate two-thirds of a head of iceberg lettuce with a couple of tablespoons of Thousand.

Toward the end it needed just a little more Thousand, but I was good and resisted the strong urge to add more.

Of course, now I'll probably eat something totally ridiculous...

Boy, I hate that kind of delay on take-off.  VIBES for a speedy replacement aircraft for DR Ginny & Co.

The new plane is at the gate and as soon as it's cleaned and "recatered" we'll try again.

There was some cockamamie thing on my flight from Burbank to JFK in October -- some light came on the panel, something they're required to check out.  Fortunately, all it took was a mechanic's sign-off and I think the delay was less than an hour.  I still got back home in time for Bitch Hurricane Sandy!
