And the word of the day is: INCHMEAL!

Framk Loesser's original lyrics

Inchmeal, inchmeal
Measuring the marigolds
You and your arithmetic
You'll probably go far

Inchmeal, inchmeal
Measuring the marigolds
Seems to me you'd stop and see
How beautiful they are

why one should ketchup before one posts

That is usually my mistake.

Watching an old Bell Telephone Hour Tribute to Cole Porter with Miss Ethel Merman, John Raitt and Peter Nero. It's cheesy, but the singing at least is wonderful.

BLAZE the SuperDog is most adorable.......

We had great photos of DR DRUXY's adorable Chester last week and now this week BLAZE!  This place is going to the dogs.

With apologies to Callie and Ricky and Boo, of course.  Since we had pictures from DR JANE of a lovely kitty as well.....

And what about Nicky?

I thought he had achieved personhood by now

He probably should.  Angel was the one who was truly human.

I am going to watch CROMWELL on TCM this afternoon.  I always get a little murky on my English history around that time - so i am sure they way to clear that up is to watch a movie about it.
That's how I get most of my history, from movies and musicals. I'd know nothing about U.S. history if it weren't for "1776" and "Assassins."

LOL!  But I thought I knew some factual info from "1776" that got me in trouble with Mrs. Sibener in history class, where Peter Stone had made stuff up.  Like the saying goes, the fact that they're singing and dancing should have  clued me in that it's not a documentary. :)

Fred, I have missed your fractured logic.  And I suck at satire.

Going to LA for the weekend.  Any Los Angelenos want to see Peter Pan Saturday night?

Me!  Me!  Me!  Oh, yeah, never mind.

What a slow day here at haineshisway.com.  I watched the first episode of Downton Abbey - not great, but fun to have it back.  Shirley MacLaine - a bit of a shock, as I haven't really seen her in about ten years.  Her timing, unlike Maggie Smith, just seems off.

So that is what happened.  You deleted your post.  I was trying to quote it, and it was telling me that the post did not exist.

Last night as I was brushing my teeth, my new crown popped out of my mouth and nearly went down the drain.   My mouth didn't hurt, so I put the crown in a safe place and went to bed  THis morning it was reseated, so it's in and doing fine. My dentist was so upset with herself.  The nice thing is she did this for free and said if it comes out again she will do it a different way, have a new crown made and put it in all for free.   I wasn't even upset about it happening (things happen) but it was nice to hear she's willing to make it right

I guess the game is over, because Ethel sang.

Night, all.

I wonder if Vixmom and the Vixter are still out to dinner.  Pretty soon it would be out to breakfast.

I have decided that I will tell these doctors tomorrow that I am willing to see what they have to offer, but I will not have another surgery.

Just came back from a Legally Blonde band rehearsal and I have this to say:

Why, hello Legally Blonde score. I seem to remember you from sometime last fall. You kicked my ass and we parted ways quite quickly. Now you have returned to kick my ass in a different way, now, didn't you? Well, you will LOSE, Legally Blonde score - LOSE I tell you. Watch your back!

I have missed playing with talented high schoolers.  Their innocence and ignorance can be quite amusing.  The adults have their own banter going that goes right over most of their heads.  It's also humbling in some ways.  I miss it.  I'm playing another high school show in March, it keeps you young.

Watched the second episode of Downton Abbey which was much better than the first, then sent off episode five to Broadway World, then finished the chapter I was on and wrote the beginning of the next chapter (twelve pages today), then I finished the liner notes and got those to the designer.  Long day.
