Am enjoying a lot of "The Dark Knight Rises," but I hate the background music. Just percussion without charm for the tension scenes.

To answer your question from yesterday, DR TCB, yes I would say that the guy playing Captain Hook did a pretty good job.

Thanks.   ;D

Well, as of thirty minutes ago, I have finished the fifth Adriana Hofstetter mystery.  I did go on a tear and ended up doing twenty pages today.  I'm sure there'll be plenty of finessing, futzing and fixing tomorrow, and then I'll print out the new pages. Xerox them, and then deliver to Muse Margaret.

It's always very emotional after finishing a book, and this one has a somewhat emotional ending, which I loved writing.

Congratulations, BK!!

Well, that is mighty peculiar.  I made a post about Republic of Pie, the post absolutely went through, and yet the post has disappeared into the ether.  I find that very odd.

Well, tonight I watched "Chinatown" with Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway.  I really liked it.  Right after I finished the movie, I rewatched Episode 4 of "Outside the Box" and understood it.  I also enjoyed it a lot more than before. :D

Is the House of Pies still near you?

Tonight's episode of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" with Guy Fieri came to Olympia!  They featured Darby's, a little restaurant on the same block as the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, and one of my niece's favorite restaurants...they offer vegetarian and vegan menu choices!

So far, I haven't seen anyone that I know. ::)

I haven't gone there very often, but everything that I've had there has been very good.
