Good afternoon.  Posting from a Peets Coffee and Tea.  Not sure why I'm here but it might be the free wifi.  I have to kill some time before rehearsal.  I wish I knew when I had to be there, though.  Oh well, flexible is my middle name.

One never needs an excuse to be at a Peet's.   What needs an excuse is being at a Starbucks when a Peet's is nearby!   ;D

My goodness. You'd think I was gone a month by the attention I am getting from Joshie.

Sweet.

DR John G is JUSTICE from 2011?  I could tell you liked it, however, I felt your praise needed to be higher before I watched ;)
It was from the last year or two. And I will put it this way: Foyle is a 10 out of 10. Injustice was a 7.

I'm not sure any show is as good as Foyle which should be rated higher than a 10 ;)

I was #38 out of 45. The last one they picked was #29. Boy, was she  $^@&%#. I have never sat through such a long jury selection process before. It took from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Groan, but now you are free.

Well, the Starbucks is a block over, but for some reason, I always end up at Peet's when I need to kill time.  It's much cooler :)

I think Peet's smells better than Starbucks.

TOD: I think it would have to be when I saw Tony Bennett with my brother when I was about 15.  He was on leave from the Navy and was going back the next day, I think.   I took a picture of Tony bowing at the end.  I don't remember being told you weren't supposed to do that!

Thank you, Ginny. I hope your remaining test results are not as bad as the first. I am glad to hear that your doctor is keeping up on everything with you.

Today's test results weren't life-threatening, just annoying.  But thanks for the vibes anyway...

I'm very excited that the tenants renting the house above us have split and taken their pot farm with them.  The owner is there now and getting the house ready to sell.

I may periodically ask for some selling to nice people vibes, at a good price ;)

Does the stress of travel & being sick have anything to do with the results?

Had to read that a few times as when you have "pot" and "selling" in the same post, it's easy to read it wrong :P

Possibly, DR Jane.  Most likely it's from the antibiotic I took last week.

I've only had to go down to the courthouse once, and the trial was delayed, so we all got to leave just about as soon as we got there.  Otherwise, I've never been picked.  I've actually only gotten "the card" once before that.

LOL I lot of that had been going on.  I spoke to another neighbor today with a view of the pot.  He is the one that told me it is gone.  He is extremely happy.  Apparently that stuff smells horrible during the growing/blooming season.

I mentioned to the neighbor we saw a car with Nevada plates going up the road.  It turns out those are her new plates.  Really, the woman drove right past us leaving our driveway & didn't stop or say hello, or even mention what had been going on up there.  The first time Keith saw her drive by he was standing on the side of the road doing work.  Even if she didn't recognize us she could have waved.

Driving back from the job, I had a nasty moment when I spotted a bumper immediately ahead of me in the road which had obviously fallen off somebody's vehicle. It was dark so I didn't see it until I was right upon it and at the speed i was going I couldn't avoid driving right over it.

Yikes!  Hope your car and tires are fine!

I'll be inspecting the tires tomorrow when it's light!

Hope everything's OK!

Keith reminded me today I need to sort out the insurance for Medicad this year so he can knows how to change our insurance.

I did, what I thought would be a quick search to see what needs doing.  Finding out when I need to apply was easy & the good news.  I don't apply until September.  After that I'm confused as to what benefits & parts of this to apply for.

I went on the website for my Regency Blue Shield/Blue Cross insurance and found a better explanation of the various parts.

Now I'm stumped again as I didn't see a link to what I can purchase from my ins co. as supplemental insurance.

If anyone has tips or suggestions I would appreciate hearing them.

The  reason the belt broke  (besides being old) was that something seized on the AC compressor- so we are looking at another $500

TOD

I saw and was part of various school concerts and musical assemblies over the years  but my first REAL concert where I chose to go was to see Bobby Sherman at the Westbury Music Hall
