I think in addition to the cropping, I need to Photoshop one of those chins out....

Nice photo DR Jrand62. I'm so vain I always take my glasses off for photographs - as can be seen in the recent photo with DR Ginny  :)

I've had a short nap, and I just answered some questions from a retired British singer I'm courting to play Aunt Minnie/Madame Roberta on the recording. I am a huge fan of hers and her husband is a delightful email correspondent.

I have to think about dinner. Perhaps some more fish. I could take some of the chicken soup out of the freezer. Hmmm . . .

DR John G is JUSTICE from 2011?  I could tell you liked it, however, I felt your praise needed to be higher before I watched ;)

Went to a great party this afternoon.

The salad I made had yellow cherry tomatoes, red seedless grapes, blueberries, edamame soybeans, vidalia onion summer tomato dressing, and baby spring mix salad greens.

YUMMY

It sounds yummy.

From Bruce:

It was so hard to keep my trap shut about tonight's Downton Abbey but I did because I didn't even want to hint at anything, and that's all I'm saying about that.

I appreciate this.  The last time the comments referenced the shocking ending I guessed it.  I don't know if I would have without the comments.  The upside to this was I impressed Keith for figuring it out ;)

TOD: The first concert I saw was Lou Rawls. I went with my sister, her college roommate and another friend of theirs. We were the four white people there, at least in our section of the theater. And we were dressed for a rock concert, while the rest of the audience was dressed in their best, complete with their Sunday crowns. Great concert.

Good morning. I have jury duty today.

TOD: When I was about 13, my Girl Scout troop decided to disband. So we had a frenzy of spending our treasury money so we didn't have to turn it over to the state administrators. We went to see Three Dog Night at the Phoenix Coliseum. What is funny about that is that my mom wouldn't allow me to go see Donny Osmond at The Coliseum, because "they do drugs there."  I doubt there were drugs at Donny's concert; there certainly was funny smoke at the Three Dog Night concert.

;D

I'm sorry she wouldn't let you see Donny.

Monday morning greetings!  We were at the vampire's blood lab shortly after 8 this morning, where it took 2 people and 3 sticks to get the vials needed for tests ordered by 2 different doctors.  We then went out for a nice breakfast at Cracker Barrel and now I'm ready for a nap.

:(

EXCELLENT RESULT VIBES!!!

Greetings from Toyland! I got here to find the internet still out, so I called our service and threw a fit. About 15 minutes ago a very nice technician showed up, found the problem was a defective insert where our router plugs into the phone line. It was replaced, he left, and I am extremely relieved. I have music to print, and music to scan and send as pdfs to Dublin.

VIBES THIS SOLVES YOUR CONNECTION PROBLEMS!!!

Barnes & Noble is going to close at least 20 stores a year for the next 10 years. Bummer. But not wholly unexpected.

Driving back from the job, I had a nasty moment when I spotted a bumper immediately ahead of me in the road which had obviously fallen off somebody's vehicle. It was dark so I didn't see it until I was right upon it and at the speed i was going I couldn't avoid driving right over it.

Yikes!  Hope your car and tires are fine!

Good afternoon.  Posting from a Peets Coffee and Tea.  Not sure why I'm here but it might be the free wifi.  I have to kill some time before rehearsal.  I wish I knew when I had to be there, though.  Oh well, flexible is my middle name.

Thanks, DR Jane.  I've already received the results of one of the tests and it's not great.  The doctor and I will be discussing my Coumadin regime tomorrow.

I hope your car is ok, Doug. I'm assuming YOU are ok, since you were able to post about the accident.

One never needs an excuse to be at a Peet's.   What needs an excuse is being at a Starbucks when a Peet's is nearby!   ;D

DR John G is JUSTICE from 2011?  I could tell you liked it, however, I felt your praise needed to be higher before I watched ;)
It was from the last year or two. And I will put it this way: Foyle is a 10 out of 10. Injustice was a 7.

I was #38 out of 45. The last one they picked was #29. Boy, was she  $^@&%#. I have never sat through such a long jury selection process before. It took from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Well, the Starbucks is a block over, but for some reason, I always end up at Peet's when I need to kill time.  It's much cooler :)
