Good morning, all!

I stayed up too late watching Kathy Griffin, so the lights weren't out before 11:15. I got out of bed around 7:45am, and I'll shortly head down to Toyland. I need to stop at Penn Station and pick up my New Jersey Transit tickets for Monday. Perhaps I'll do the laundry this afternon, depending on the time I return and the weather.

And just a few blocks from the best cheeseburger in town (Robert Harris just posted this on HTF):

Despite protests, the Mary Pickford Building on West Hollywood’s The Lot has been destroyed by its current owner, the CIM Group. (See video below.) The Lot, as previously reported on this site, was built in the 1910s..."

Greetings from National Airport. My flight is on time as of now (11:15am). Only problem is I don't have a seat assignment and they haven't opened the gate yet.

My nephew and fiancee (sp?) arrived in LaGuardia and are waiting for their flight at 11 am. It still showed ontime a few minutes ago when I checked online. Fingers crossed!

So depressing. I'm glad I don't live in Los Angeles any longer. I don't have to witness it.

BTW: I was one of the last 2 people to interview Mary Pickford. I wrote a piece on her for Coronet Magazine.
