It's very easy to install ROKU.  You do need to go to use a computer with it to get it started so the Geek Squad would probably be a good idea.    I like it because I don't have to watch streaming movies on my computer screen.  I think you need a wireless network, but maybe not.

Stay warm and dry everyone.  It's not worth risking your life to go outside.

I was wrong,  you can used a wired connection on a ROKU.  There are what seems like hundreds of channels.  It's quite amazing

I think the Geek Squad (or some computer person besides me) would be the way to go just because we aren't out there often enough and even though it's easy it's well beyond Rose's abilities. They have a wireless network so the geek who comes should be done quickly. She loves Acorn TV and has asked repeatedly about being able to watch it on the TV.

I tire much quicker watching something on the laptop so when we get a new TV I'm thinking of a Roku (or some other streaming device) as well.

Greetings from the DR Matthew and DD Ben cave.  (need to work on that greeting)

Today's agenda, funeral this morning (in which "More" will be played) Callbacks for the coat show and then a performance of the pink show.  I've tried to make it easier to remember so I've narrowed the titles down to one word.  Pink, Coat, Drowsy (duh), Web, Saigon and Poppins.   I know, some aren't very creative, but Helicopter is too long and the Charlotte show sounds like something that's not kid friendly.
The Stephen Sondheim song "More"? At a funeral?

Haha!  No - from "Mondo Cane"

I did a screen shot on One Note...I think, but don't know how to post it...

Is it saved as a file on your computer?  I can forward to you the instructions on how to use the HHW Photobucket account.

With the TV extension in the Cave, the Apple TV is in the living room.  I'm threatening moving it to the bedroom since that's the way I been streaming Netflix and Hulu and I'm able to play stuff purchased on iTunes or movies I've ripped to iTunes.  I'm still threatening.  Although, they aren't that expensive, maybe I'll get one for the bedroom.

My Roku is now considered a "classic" lol.  They haven't been around enough years to be called "classic"

DR George, I think, mentioned REMEMBER WENN.

I remember seeing just a couple of episodes, and I've been hoping to find it ever since!  I tell you, that show did a disappearing act to rival some of the most obscure 50's shows.

Only a couple, what a shame.  It was a great show!

Lenny's Deli, located in the former Junior's spot.

Wow!  That was fast.

I used to do publicity for Junior's.

Lenny moved quickly to get the spot.  Apparently Lenny's was originally in Pacific Palisades.

Looks like I forgot to log out when I left for the hairdresser.  From there, I picked up my sister at their hotel and we went to the Vera Bradley enabler retailer, Michael's, Panera for lunch, Half Price Books, and Starbucks.  She's napping at the hotel and she and her husband are coming over later for a pizza dinner with Richard and me.

The storm was good to you keeping your sister around longer :)

Sounds like a fun visit DR GINNY!!

It has been, DR JRand.  Despite the almost 10-year difference in our ages, we get along quite well.

You are very lucky!!!!

The woman I know who will be showing her Bernese Mountain Dog at the Westminster Dog show is safely in NY.  She left Ontario early & drove all night to beat the storm.  She drove while her friend navigated.

I think so, too, DR Jane.  And, yes, I'm very lucky!

Two years ago the father of the dog won best of the Berner's at Westminster.  He just recently died and this trip with the son is going to be a bit emotional I think.

It had to do with AMC I think, can't remember the details.   There are some copies of people's VHS recordings going around, at least there were going around a few years ago.  It was a great show

It is snowing here. Has been all night and all day. But only supposed to be 10 cms. Which isn't huge, but still a pain.
