I just got the good news that Jason Graae is confirmed for the Bob Hope role in ROBERTA. Big sigh of relief!
Yay!

Today (Thursday) at work, we're going to have a Red/Pink potluck lunch.  I'm bringing meatballs in a marinara sauce.

Meatballs are heating and lunch will be at around 1:00 pm or so. :D

Went back to bed and slept another two hours, then went to Jerry's Deli, where I could barely get any sound out of my voice - I had soup and sandwich.  By the time I was finished at least some of my voice was working again.  Since then I've been feeling a bit better.

Well, I'm back from the cruise/wedding.

All I can say is that I'm glad that I wasn't on that cruise ship that was stuck in the Gulf of Mexico.

All went well at the wedding.  The setting was spectacular.   It took place here:

Today is the birthday of my favorite funny person - Mr. Jack Benny.  I never actually realized we have something major in common - we share the same initials.  Who knew.  Jack's real name was Benjamin Kubelsky.  He even shares initials with Benjamin Kritzer.

Nice photos from DR DOUG R.

Welcome home DR KEVIN.....yes, your cruise was much less eventful than the ship In The News.

DR CILLA LIZ - there is much to be said for staying home, that is for sure...especially if meeting Mr H is only a maybe.

I think I will watch my new DVD of SKYFALL.

There was a choice - the DVD for $14.95 or the DVD w/special features for $19.95 or the BluRay-DVD-Digital version for $24.95.

The special features didn't look that special....and $10 more for the BluRay seemed a bit much to me....so I settled for the DVD.

DR George, I believe we're offering Aunt Minnie/Madame Roberta to Rosemary Ashe. I love her!

Cool!  I have several recordings that she's on.  She was the original Madame Giry in the original London Phantom of the Opera!  And I love the London Witches of Eastwick!

DR Vixmom I'm sorry about your car.

A co-worker told me that he got pulled over today just as he was pulling into our parking lot (he lives in Montesano, which is about 45 minutes away) and got a ticket for having expired tabs...they expired back in November!  His ticket was for $216!! :o

Vixmom, at least you have a legitimate reason to spend so much money on your car.
