Well, you've read the notes, the notes had both turn and tide, and now it is time for you to post until the tide-turning cows come home.

They just broke into the regular newscast to report that a meteor crash landed in Russia.  I wonder if this is the asteroid that was supposed to barely miss the earth tonorrow?

Pretty scary if our scientists miscalculated by 76,000 miles.  And about 12 hours off.

Now the Russians are saying that they shot a rocket that blew up a meteorite in the skies over northern Russia.  Maybe it was a piece that broke off the asteroid?

Spent a lovelier than lovely night in SF with an old flame.  The weather was great, the lamb shanks at Tommy Joynt were exquisite and the company was divine.  There was a lot of talking going on.  Best day in a long time.

Good morning, all!

I was up early to head down to Toyland earlier than usual: my accountant meeting is at 11:00am, and I want to recopy all of my taxcharts and photocopy the set for the accountant. Also, once i'm sown there, I can get some other work accomplished as I wait.

I just watched the footage on CBS THIS MORNING of the cruise ship passengers arriving from their vacation from hell. I'm happy I wasn't one of them: I would have been the first passenger thrown overboard for everyone's sanity.

BK, I'm happy to hear that you're now recovering from your cold. Take zinc and vitamin-C.

Glad Mr BK is feeling better.  Loved reading the Toni story and info.

I would like to see a picture.

DVD - Skyfall

CD - Breakfast on Pluto

I have only read ONE of the James Bond novels.....so I don't know if the backstory of Bond in SKYFALL is from Ian Fleming - I doubt it......I didn't like it much as the setting for the last third of the film.....kind of James Bond meets STRAW DOGS.....but I like Daniel Craig.  And then of course there was the sassy black girl stereotype, played as it always used to be, by a pretty and untalented actress, who I guess is now a regular in the series.....as is another favorite actor Ralph Fiennes.

ANYWAY.....my favorite Craig Bond film is still GOLDENEYE.

Friday morning greetings!  After 2 pretty busy days away from home, I'm enjoying a relaxing morning with coffee and my new uncracked iPad Mini.  If it's not snowing later I may do one errand, but nothing too elaborate.

The asteroid is still due to pay a close visit to us today. Might be a good idea to hide under the table.
