I watched that Kander/Ebb thing last week.....there was no point of view.....no real structure or rhyme or reason to the song selection......and it could have been good.....

I liked the setting.....but I was so bored, I kept looking into the windows of the apartments across the street.

Exactly.  Everyone thinks they know how to do these evenings, and few really do.  The first problem always is exactly what you say - what's the POINT?  If there's no point then it's a bore.

Well, I did enjoy the performers...but I kept wondering if that was the former set for the (now cancelled) daytime Anderson Cooper talk show that DR Danise visited.

Well, it turns out that Matthew Broderick had his own Patti LuPone moment...albeit more polite.

Have you gone as an adult, DR Ron Pulliam? And if so, was it as much fun as a kid?

No. Good amount of rain, though.

It has been raining pretty hard for the last half hour or so. I even saw tiny pieces of hail when I looked into the potted plants.

A person I know in Scottsdale put up photos that looked like snow.  There wasn't much of it.   It must have been hail.

The outlying areas probably had snow. Not where I am.

Keith changed his mind about watch FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD & instead we watched THE GOOD WIFE.  I would really like to comment on this episode but won't.

Is there anybody here who watches it but me and you. Just put big spoiler warning or email me what you wanted to say since I've watched it already.

Tomorrow I am supposed to go see Beautiful Creatures. I have only read the first book so far (I have the second one from the library).

I heard that they combined two of my favorite characters. I hate when movies do this. Hopefully i will like the movie.

It probably helps to know this prior to watching the movie.

SPOILER

we weren't happy with her decision at the end.  Keith was extremely upset about it.  He searched for responses on the internet & found others felt the same way.  Up till now we have really liked her and don't want that to change.

I was so happy that I had heard this before seeing the movie so I could prepare myself. Otherwise I would have been mad.

I was watching Viola Davis (who is in the movie) doing an interview. Her character is a house keeper in the book. She has a big part in the book. Anyhow in the interview Viola was saying how they wanted her to play the part but she was like "um no i won't play another maid".  So that made me wonder what the heck kind of character she was playing.

I am wondering if the combined the two characters just so they could get her to do the movie. I hope that is not the case. Because she isn't even a maid.  The main boy's mother is dead and she basically takes care of him.

Well, well, well, out little friend has done her dirty business again - this time leaving one one-star vote for each and every episode of Outside the Box save for the Matt Ashford episode.  She either missed that one or left it alone for some bizarre reason.  Now, she may have done that at the same time she left her one-star ratings for the overall series so I'm going to give our little friend one day to undo those votes (easy to cancel a vote) - if that happens, I will do nothing.  If it does not happen, then many dear readers will be getting a private e-mail from me with instructions as to what to do next.  The ball, as they say, is in her court.  Do the right thing or don't - it's up to you.

Spoilers re: THIS WEEK's THE GOOD WIFE

Keith spent a lot of years in business and said what they did was wrong & they should have been held accountable for it.  He felt she should have gone out on her own or done something else instead.  Just because most people would have don that doesn't make it right.   I will wait & see where they take this.

I don't even know if I want to wait until tomorrow.  I have contacted the imdb, although I have no idea if that does any good, but I have given them the history, all of her various usernames that I know of, her e-mail addresses that I know of, and her websites that I know of.  If any of her dirty work emanated from any of those, then they'll know it.  Act fast, dear heart, before you have to learn your lesson the hard way.

I'm shocked, around 3:00 this afternoon, just before my short nap, I purchased a book to read on my Nook.  It is almost 7:00 and I still haven't received a book from the library.  Last time I purchased a book it only took 10 minutes before I heard from the library.
