DR Vixmom I looked up national chocolate day.  Apparently there are various days honoring chocolate making it very confusing.  I found various dates as the answer.  This link includes a few of them.

I'm too old for an iPhone. It has taken me several days now to get the sharing set up to hear music. For the past three evenings, it has said that it needs to update something either on the computer or on the phone and then proceed to need at least two hours to do it. It's working now and it's nice. The sound is better than my MP3 player.

Still, it makes me feel old.

Congrats on your Minnie DR ELMORE.

Thanks, DR JRand62! We don't have her yet, but two interests is better than none!

Except for National Milk Chocolate Day, I could see celebrating all of them.

I have returned from City Center.  I finished the ballet quickly; there were several cuts, so it was shorter than the bar count. Then I proofed "The Strongest Man In The World," walked to Broadway and took the 104 bus home. On the bus, I ran into E&T DR JoseS, who has promised to return in the near future. It was nice to catch up with him.

Then I got home to find two emails from Dublin: we may have our Aunt Minnie!

Very good news, Larry!  Good luck!

It's turned bitterly cold with the possibility of snow showers over the next few days.

I love milk chocolate.  I try and buy more dark chocolate since it is better for me.

Back from a wonderfully fun lunch with Dick Lochte - we figured out the last time I saw him was at one of my Christmas Eve Dos in my other Studio City abode, when his child was about three - seventeen years ago - how exactly does that happen?

Picked up some packages and a couple of bite-sized cheesecake things.  I had the combo Louis (so did Dick) and ate a little less dressing than usual.

Bruce for the last couple of days I've been feeling very much as you are.  During the many, many years I practically lived at the Rancho Park tennis courts I had a special friend I played tennis with.  Her parents and siblings were also at the courts and my brother was friends with the family before I was.  Off the courts Sandra and I also hung out together.  I spent a good amount of time with her family at their home and they often took me places with them.

Two days ago I realized someone I know was in her class at school and asked about her.  Sadly Sandra passed away in 2006.  Occasionally I would ask my brother if he had news of the family and it had been awhile.  I looked for Sandra on facebook and never found her & now I know why.  Sigh.

The problem with finding females of old on Facebook is, of course, if they were married.

That is why I added my maiden name when I joined the various West L.A. groups & schools.  I don't think it has made a difference but one never knows.

Had I mentioned last time I was at the dentist, CHU CHEM happened to be playing over the speakers?

Nothing obscure this time.  It was NYMPH ERRANT.

I hadn't planned on it...but I just checked my home e-mail and tickets are 50% off!  I'll think about it. :)

And on that note (A# or Bb...take your pick), I'm off.  I'm working concessions for tonight's Comedy In the Box at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts.

Be back later!

DR CILLA LIZ how do you feel that Juan is doing on his cross examination?

I think he's doing better than a lot of talking heads do.  She's a difficult witness becasue no matter what you ask she's going to have some sort of answer and she'll never be wrong.  He's doing what you have to do to get control of a witness like her.  He's slowly moving through what he needs to go through to attack her credibility.

He's already scored points on her finger not looking broken after she claims he broke it and before she killed him, that she has this altercation after she claims she caught him with photos of boys but she doesn't tell anyone, doesn't write it in her journal and has some dull back and forth messages about a car with him and even invites him to lunch the next day.  Juan has her peeking in Travis' windows after they broke up, etc.   She does not appear to be someone who is a battered woman, she seems more like a jealous control freak.  Good grief, he even has her sending out an elaborate coded message from the jail using two different magazines to meet with someone regarding their testimony in a hearing...
