When did this backstage CRAP begin happening? Is this a first? Just do the damn show.

Wae-Ling and I watched the Cathy Rigby video of Peter Pan again. I was going to give it to her, but it gives her something to do while her dad sends her over until he gets back. So I think I'll keep it here for her to watch on the computer.

It seems crazy that you have to wait until they show up in your system. I think they must have some idea which ebooks they are going to get.The way my library works is that it doesn't take very long from the time a title is selected to being ordered to showing up on our website. As soon as they show up, they're available to download. You really can't find out what's going to be ordered/available, until it shows up...and it's not necessary because it's so quick. Also, anyone can request an e-book/downloadable movie/downloadable CD. I would hope that you can, too.How do they do that, by phone or online? Are these books only for your library? It's on-line...our website is www.trl.org and there's a link to OverDrive, the download service to which we subscribe. Anyone can search, but only Timberland patrons can download item. Anyway, the titles show up within an hour or so after I place the order for the titles that the selectors select.Thanks. It was interesting to see your local website which is very different from mine. With my Nook HD I also download from OverDrive. I didn't see where to request a book, maybe I need to be a member to see it.No, it's just on the regular library website. Go to www.trl.org, hover over "Research," click on "Ask a Librarian," then there's a link to "Purchase Request." From there, you can see all the options for the requests.

Kristin wants people to guess what's in her box.
And I just posted that very thing on - Facebook. I will not be returning to Facebook this evening. Emily Skinner is unfriending people who are making light of the Oscars. Brilliant, Emily, baby.
I don't MIND the red carpet....but it does go on and on
