Just heard from Dolores' son that she had a full hip replacement this afternoon and that the surgery went well. He hasn't seen his mom yet. I would imagine she's still under the affect of the anesthesia.

Really, who decides which actors are included and are they all too young to remember his fine movie career?Sounds like they left out a lot of people, especially those who started in movies but did a lot of TV work, such as Larry Hagman and Lupe Ontiveros. They'll never get those things right, but, seriously, there are numerous places online that log which celebrities died in the preceding year. You'd think they would use something like that. And yet they included Michael Jackson when he never did a movie, not that I know of anyway.

I always enjoy the Oscars, when I watch it...however, I didn't watch it last night. I would have watched it for sure if'n I had seen more of the films that were up for awards.
