I was amazed, in both groups, how popular the pecan pie was.

I've never been a fan of Key Lime pie...I love a little lime juice in my diet Pepsi (or even diet Coke), but not the pie.  I don't know why.

Since I mostly passed my cholesterol test, this would be the time to make one.

I always enjoy the Oscars, when I watch it...however, I didn't watch it last night. I would have watched it for sure if'n I had seen more of the films that were up for awards.

George - I don't suppose you would have happened to have  recorded the Oscars?

DR Vixmom, I'm not sure where, but I heard this morning that the entire broadcast is available for viewing on the web.

Vixmom, if that's good enough for you, just let me know and I won't send a disc...but if you want a disc, let me know, too. :D

Thanks !  I will try and  find it =on the web so I do not have to trouble you

Just heard from Dolores' son that she had a full hip replacement this afternoon and that the surgery went well. He hasn't seen his mom yet. I would imagine she's still under the affect of the anesthesia.

Rapid Recovery Vibes for Delores and she remains in my prayers!

I read this morning that Andy Griffith was not mentioned in the memoriam tribute, along with others.  Really, who decides which actors are included and are they all too young to remember his fine movie career?
Sounds like they left out a lot of people, especially those who started in movies but did a lot of TV work, such as Larry Hagman and Lupe Ontiveros. They'll never get those things right, but, seriously, there are numerous places online that log which celebrities died in the preceding year. You'd think they would use something like that.

And yet they included Michael Jackson when he never did a movie, not that I know of anyway.

He was in The Wiz

Good heavens, Mikey, I have been locked away in my apartment for a year and a half, and I still watched the Oscars.
