Good afternoon.  It's been a fairly busy day.  Had breakfast and went to the office for awhile.  I did some errands then stopped by the rubble of a building being torn down.  Paul did a mural that was the entire side of the building, so I stopped and got a few little pieces of it and took to him.  Since all the recognizable pieces were way too big, he thought I was being silly, but he did thank me.

Thank you to DRs Jane and John G!  I'm taking Lauren to lunch tomorrow, so maybe I'll get to hear about what ELSE is going on in her life...

ELSE!! ;)

Well, I think there's some career stuff, too...

We're supposed to get rain or snow.  It's 40 degrees now, so it would be rain, but this is the sort of rain/snow that worries me.  Too good a chance to get ice

I've posted a couple new posts on Anderson Live to keep it on the list.  I'm hoping you'll hear something soon.  maybe no one is monitoring it over the weekend

The girls loved Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I had to explain why all the girls said "Mine!" at the end.

Thank you Dr Cillaliz for all of your help.  I think there were some pretty powerful posts there and some by people I don't even know!  I have a feeling I will be getting a phone call or two tomorrow.

I don't think I mentioned that I also send an email to the photographer who was interested in following my story from the local news.  He was the one who supplied the footage for the AC show.

It was a nice thought and a shame his mural was torn down.

No need for thanks, anyone else would have done the same.  Poor thing.  I'm not the biggest cat fan, being a dog person myself but I would never hurt one and am in fact feeding a couple of possible strays--they sure are hungry if they belong to someone--because I've felt sorry for them.  I just feel bad because I don't know if they have anywhere to go in this cold.

A dreary depressing day in South Florida.
Not much better here in Central Florida.  It's getting colder as the day goes by and I think I saw the sun for about a half hour this afternoon.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  Fr. Richard and I are back from an uneventful trip to Lima and now I can tell you why I've been so quiet the past couple of days:

Yesterday our dear niece/goddaughter Lauren became engaged to a wonderful young man named Jimmy!

Her mom had called me on Friday to tell me he was planning to propose on Saturday and then they were going to dinner at Lebanon's Golden Lamb, where they went on their first date.  Jimmy wanted it to be a family thing, so his mom arranged for one of the private dining rooms and there were 9 of us there to greet them.  Mary Linda went with us, but Paramedic Rob was only halfway through his 24-hour workday.  It was a fun, festive evening.
Congrats!  What fun!  Was she surprised?

She kind of expected the proposal, but was surprised that the dinner was a party and not just a date.

The weather in Manhattan was really lovely today. I hope it's nice tomorrow. If it is, I may walk to the SUPERMAN rehearsal at 54th and 11th Avenue.

I'm going through Downton withdrawal

I see that Julian Ovenden, who was wonderful when I saw him in DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY, is joining the cast. We tried to get him for one of two roles in DEAREST ENEMY last year. He would have been good, but I'm happy with the ones we cast.

Sad cat story DR DANISE....but you gave him a proper send off.

Yes & yes.  I hope you see find a lost cat sign to let the people know.
One of the reasons I buried it so quickly was because there is a house with kids in it just a house down. I didn't want them to see it but I would call if I saw such a sign.  I don't think the cat belongs to them.   I hope whoever did it is ashamed of themselves.

I was just going to say this.  It was nice what you did. But i hate to think of people being worried sick about this cat. Hopefully you can find out who he/she belonged to.

I'll be watching Celebrity Apprentice. It's allstars. And there are actually some really good former celebs (not the usual crappy allstars).

I need to check if CBS is on time because i have to record The Good Wife and The Mentalist on the US chennel (on the Canadian channels they are both on at 10pm).

DR Danise if you can, find out if there is a group who help feral cats.  If you ask they might go out and make sure those cats you are feeding can't make babies.  They should also trap, spay, and release them if needed.

I was going to ask Thelma the next time I talk to her about it because they have feral cats around where she lives.
