Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the price of travel and Jerry Vale, and now it is time for you to post until the traveling cows come home.

Re: 1967 Tony Awards.

There were a few years where the best book and best score awards were won with the Best Musical award. I believe it was separated in 1970 the year of Company. They actually separated the best score as best music and best lyrics. Sondheim won both.

There is a NY award Drama Desk (I think) that gives separate music  and lyric award. Quite often they go to different people/shows

Good morning, all!

In my last dream beofre the alarm rang, I was sitting in a car in a parking lot of some commercial building while I tried to use a remote control to change the information about a meeting on a political billboard. And I believe the car was my brother Randy's.  I have bo idea what any of that means.

So, I am back to Toyland this morning. Around 11:30, I will stop by Rodgers & Hammerstein to dropoff some things to Bruce Pomahac, and the rest of the day is open.

DR Ben, I'm sorry to hear that the Forbes Museum wasn't as much fun as you had hoped. What are today's plans?

I have never seen WESTWORLD.  Wasn't interested at the time, and though there have been recent times when I thought I would be interested, it and I haven't gotten together yet.

TOD:

I have always loved COMA, both book and film.

I remember reading THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY and liking it, but for some reason I never recall much about the film. Need to see it again.   I used to like the film ANDROMEDA STRAIN but haven't seen it in years.   Picked up THE CAREY TREATMENT and THE TERMINAL MAN from Warner Archive but haven't watched them yet.

He wrote the screenplay to TWISTER, and I gotta admit to loving TWISTER.

So everyone, everywhere, is blessed with the winter that won't end.  Not really, but we got spoiled the last couple of years with the end of February being pretty much the last of it, and somehow you could just tell that that was it.  I tried to "tell" the same a few days ago.  Fie.

Snowing now.  We either got a very slight dusting in the middle of the night, or it just started within the past hour.

Good morning, all.

Panama Hattie on stage? Sounds wonderful. Fun, fun Cole Porter score with three or four great songs: I Still Got My Health, I'm Throwing a Ball Tonight, Make It Another Old Fashioned Please and Who Would Have Dreamed? Wish there were a recording of the complete score.

I forgot to mention that yesterday, March 6, was the birthday of Miss Allison Hayes.

I am sure that many of our female DR's dress like this to post here on HHW.....and maybe even some of the gentlemen.  ;D

Be careful for what you wish! You might get it with a tiny orchestration like the Vernon Duke "Sweet Bye and Bye."

DR ELMORE the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that your dream reveals that your feel a portion of your career is outside your control, although you have the responsibility for the outcome. It also indicates that you are annoyed at the antics of some who are in power who do not have the knowledge to rule.
