I've unpacked about seven cartons of the McGlinnventory since Thursday, and I've found the original things on "Something For The Boys" that he "borrowed" from the Cole Porter Trust over 20 years ago and never returned. They will hopefully get back to the Trust this week and off my back.

I think it's about time to head for home. I understand the St Patrick's Day parade is today, so I am not taking a bus. Last year it took us over an hour to get from 42nd Street to 59th Street, and I have no urge to see a lot of drunks weaqring green plastic "Irish" hats throwing up. I'll take the subway and hope for the best.

Just got a very nice e-mail from the director of the high school production of The Brain from Planet X - he says the crowds have been belly-laughing and have already rated the show the best the school has ever done.  I asked him to send more photos.

I have plans of getting a lot accomplished today.

Um. I went to the nursery. I will be digging holes today. Just what I need. More plants.

RE: fruits and vegetables

I am going by what I consider vegetables, not what they technically might be.

I love avocados. And tomatoes. I like salad a lot.

For fruits I like grapefruit, i like raspberries a lot.

For fruits besides the above two i mostly eat them as yonanas (the maching that takes frozoen fruit and makes it into ice cream). My favorite right now is mixed berries, bananas and peanut butter.

At least you plant them! I'm guilting of buying them and letting them die before I ever get them into the ground!

We had a great food drive in the neighborhood today. Not quite as big as last year's haul (2100 lbs) but pretty close, it looks like!

Guess I've done my weight lifting for the day!

I'm very excited to see Jimmy Webb tonight. I've never seen him perform before and it's a new venue for me, about 35 minutes out of town. A musician friend drove up from Orlando for the concert and we took him out for dinner last night. He's a huge music fan so I'll be able to introduce him to another one of my music fan-friends, who is going in Greg's place. I love getting people together to talk music!

Home from the book sale, which was quite busy today.  Right after I got home Fr. Richard left to do a service for a northern Kentucky congregation that lost their priest to another denomination.  They're going to feed him dinner, so I'm on my own.

I had a slice of pzza for lunch, and I'll have salad later tonight. I'm feeling very aimless at the moment, and I don't like that at all.

I ate a big kale salad and some yogurt for lunch. I must be needing healthy food after the pie on Pi Day.

Back from a talk given by Laurie Marsh which was organised by the Cinema Theatre Association. Laurie Marsh has been a major figure in UK film industry production as well as stage productions, having owned cinema circuits and theatres. He financed Roman Polanski’s “Repulsion” and “Cul-de-sac”. He had a long theatre production association with Brian Rix (Lord Rix) who was also present.  Very interesting event – especially as there was plenty of food and wine!
