Kids are so cute!  So my 7 year old niece wrote the Easter Bunny a letter giving him the address where they would be staying. :)

I'll be putting the fish in the oven soon for our Easter dinner, a nice piece of fish, wild rice and mixed vegetables with pineapple Jello for dessert (laugh if you like, but we like Jello!)

Earlier today I purchased Better Nate Than Ever for my reader. I'm now charging the reader. Wi-Fi eats up the power.

Hi Everyone:

I'm excited to be a new member.  As you know my brother Kevin introduced me to this forum.
I'm interested in old movies, classic books and most music.

Happy Easter to everyone.  Soon I'll be heading out for an Easter Brunch with Kevin and family.

Kate.

Welcome, Kate!   We are very happy to have you join our group.  Do you have any pets?  What is your favorite kind of cookie?  Do you like Streisand?  Do you like Brent Barrett?

Welcome to new DR Kate! If you've been lurking you know what to expect--lots of talk about food, photos from all trips, some Broadway and off-Broadway gossip. You may find yourself spending money on CDs and DVDs you learned about here. But, most of all, laughs and fun. Welcome aboard!

I have been watching SABRINA. Netflix offers it on streaming video and I'd always wanted to see it. Streaming is soooo convenient!

I bought season 1 of CALL THE MIDWIFE. I love this series! I like it much more than I expected. There's a warmth to it, a joy. Of course, I loved everything I've seen by Heidi Thomas. Her writing really resonates with me.

Vixmom, did you decide to keep Netflix or was it just for HOUSE OF CARDS?

This morning, I woke up at 5:45 to find that the hot water heater was out.  So, I went to check it out, and found that pilot light was out.  I followed the instructions on how to light it, but I get nervous about putting a match to places where there is gas, so I left a message for the roommate to look at it.  He took care of it.  But i didn't get a shower, and even though I cleaned up ok before I left, I felt kinda gross all morning.  Got through 4 - count them - 4 masses this morning.  I was glad to cover the piano, and put the sound system away for the last time this week.

I'm off to my moms for dinner then to a friends house for a drink later this evening.

DR elmore I am shocked you had never seen THE BISHOP'S WIFE before yesterday.  I'm glad you have finally discovered it.

When the children were young and I didn't really have the money to spend on extras I thought about the Bishop's wife and didn't resist the beautiful hat in the store.

From Bruce:

KevinH, PM me the e-mail address she used - if she registered earlier today, I already nuked it and she'll have to do it again - I get 100 spam registrations a day and just nuke them without even looking.

I'm shocked at the number you receive a day.  If you nuke them all how does a sincere person join our fun group?
