I'm going to have to try this.  Bake the cookie dough on the outside to make ice cream cups.

I've been thinking about that all day.  I think I'l try it with the tube of cookie dough, it may not work as well, but there are fewer cookies for me to eat than if I make a batch

Today is my mom's 86th birthday.  She is home and has a sore throat.  She did make it to the beauty parlor this morning.  They had rhubarb cake and champagne or wine (at 8:30 AM) it's sort of like Steel Magnolias.  She's having an ok day.  I've been passing on the birthday greetings from FB.  She's amazed that people from so many different places have sent her birthday greetings.

DR Jennifer, I read your FB post to mom.  Her initial reaction was "No, the just don't dance as well as last season"  Then she said "Let me review my notes"  and she said she doesn't think they are as good, but maybe she's just getting tired of it

Well, I must be off.  Tonight starts our second weekend of "Reservoir Dogs."  I deposited last week's ticket sales into our bank account (being the treasurer, and all :D), so that's finally done.

Tonight we only have one show (the men's), so it'll be a relatively short evening.

Be back later!

I have a few celebs who I think are doing great. My favs are Kellie and Derek. But I think Zendaya and Val are amazing. And I also Think Aly and Mark and Karina and Jacoby are very talented.

Yep it looks like we will be getting 15-20cms of so tomorrorow. I am so not happy about this. Although the good news is that starting on Monday it looks like we will be in the 50s. I really hope the snow melts fast.

This afternoon the wind was really blowing, but it was clear and beautiful out.  I went out to lunch with some old actors down at Anthony's at Point Defiance.  If that sounds familiar Jane, it is because that is where you and George and Keith and I had lunch.

That was a very nice day, great company in beautiful Tacoma. :)

Ok, I tried the muffin pan thing.  Rule number one.  Don't use that much cookie dough.  Put a cookie sheet under the muffin tins....trust me on this, it will run all over your oven.  I caught it before it got bad.  The dough ran all over the bottom of the muffin tin so it made one really big cookie with three cups.   There was no way to get it off the pan when it was warm, so I'm cooling it on the pan and wil try to get it off.

I'm beginning to think my mom was right when she said, "why not just coat the inside of the muffin tin"

Jennifer, mom likes the young Disney girl - her words.  She likes a couple others, but over all she was disappointed.  I think the fact the all stars season was so good made this one hard to live up to. Derek is always her favorite.  She really doesn't like Tony. not sure why

One more thing on the cookie thing.  All the photos are of the raw dough.  That should have told me something lol

Or better yet, make cookies, put the ice cream in a bowl and eat them together

I have a stupid question. I hope someone can answer it for me without laughing at me.

My son bought me an ipod for Christmas. I think it is a nano. How do I put music on it? It seemed to do it automatically the first time I tried, but I can't figure it out now.

I plug it in, and I can get the CD to the itunes. But how do I get it on the ipod?

And these things don't come with instructions. I guess the young people just know how they work.

Hello Everyone:

More news about my nephew Patrick.  He got a call from NBC  today and they want to do a spotlight on him at the tryouts.  We are all so excited.

That is wonderful!

Yes, it did.  I wondered about the dough spreading....  It may still be ok,  If I can get it off the pan
