We saw GREASE on tour starring Miss Sally Struthers as Miss Lynch and she was great.  Adrian Zmed was Danny.....and Mackenzie Phillips was Rizzo. Someone named Kelli Bond Severson was Sandi.

No movie songs in this one.  It was fun....

Sally came out at the beginning and talked to the audience like it was a reunion....then she walked offstage and through the rows asking people their names...and when they told her....she would say things like...."Oh, yes....you were a troublemaker...." and "I never did like you..."  and "Didn't you get pregnant your senior year?"  Then she got back onstage and saw some people coming in late and said to them.... "You never were on time.  You were supposed to be here when the little hand was on eight and the big hand was on twelve...."

It sounds like a fun show.

I still need to catch up but I have to go into town for a couple of errands.  If I had been smart I would have done these errands after swimming even though I had wet hair.

Good morning, all.

The tax fun continues. I will put an end to it today whether I find the one receipt or not.

Tell me what it was for and the amount. I'll send you an invoice.

Thanks. Since it was for this laptop, I doubt that would look too legit.

Why?  Elmore writes alll the proctology bills for MBarnum.

I have no idea.  It was just meant as a joke.

I'm not sure if I saw Grease the musical. I sort of feel like I did somewhere. I have definitely seen the movie (a long time ago). I know I enjoyed it then.

Snow please melt. I want to finally get on my bike this coming week!

There definitely wasn't the snow they predicted. Although not sure how much of it was freezing rain/and melted.

The streets were very good and clear. Although the bike path is full of snow again. And there is snow on the lawns.

I am so sick of winter.

The Food Emporium at 68th Street and Broadway is closing! Terrible news: it was so convenient to stop there on my way home from the office and pick up some things. They had great produce.

I'm sorry you are losing your convenient shopping.

Back from the fundraiser.  It was fun and festive.  The silent auction and various raffles brought in $4700.  I think the menu planners forgot the entree - we had lettuce salad, fruit salad, biscuits, and baked potato halves with assorted toppings.  There were trays of small pastries on the tables.

Congrats on the fundraiser, Ginny!

DITTO!

Funny about the meal.  Did you go away hungry ;)

I did laundry, too.  Must be something in the air...

The new machines are great.  Bit of a learning curve -- even just watching these run, it's a whole different world -- but the the results are incredible.

The see through machines are fun to watch at first.

I too have been doing laundry throughout the day.  Now that I have returned from my errands I have another load going.

I had to share a lane today but it was ok.  The swimmers were all very nice and polite & friendly and my hour went by unusually fast.  I had the last 10 minutes of my swim all to myself.

Had a very nice lunch with the Staitman clan - I had a very small grilled cheese with bacon sandwich and no fries or onion rings.

We found it in the water and picked it up. She carried it until its wings dried and it could fly.

And here she is with a buddy scooping up tadpoles in a puddle to move them to a spot in the stream that had more water.
