Hello I must be going

Vixmom, did I post that I actually wrote a parody lyric for "Hello I Must be Going" when ANIMAL CRACKERS was announced in the NY Times?

vixmom - I think the idea is like with Newsical.  The writing on that show is not a team effort.  He writes it all by himself.

Newsical is, of course, not to be confused with Newsies.

The fireworks display tonight was great:

Well, I hate to do it (no, I really do!), but I must be going.  We have a 2:30 matinee and then I'm going to my sister's to visit with my cousin and his wife (they're up for a couple of days) before I have to get to our 7:30 show.  Fortunately, that'll be done by 9:00 pm and I can get home by a reasonable hour and ketchup on yesterday's post (I haven't read any...yet).

Until later!

I'm home!  "Battleship" is on the TV but I'm not really watching it.  I just want something on while I ketchup on today's and yesterday's posts.

I'm still alive!!

Part Seattle, and partly Tacoma
Partly Full Monty and part Oklahoma
But alive, still alive
So alive

Sorry, that just felt like a song cue.

Everything is a song cue!

I am back from seeing a concert version of Inside Out, which was merely okay.  They had a light supper after, consisting of sliders, which were of no interest to me, so I just had a couple of melon slices and a couple of bites of a light salad.  After, I went to Jerry's and had a sandwich and no fries.  Then I came home and went right back to work on the commentary, which is now basically finished, although I'm sure I'll be futzing with it.
