Well, you've read the notes, the notes were pounded, and now it is time for you to post until the pounded cows come home.

Good morning, all! Once I got to sleep, I slept quite well. Getting there was not very easy: too much tsuris yesterday from the Man from Philadelphia and the leading man's manager, who finally responded after keeping me waiting for seven days. Much as I feel I've been very fortunate in much of my working life, some days I still hate what I do for a living.

So, I am off to Toyland: I've got one full score to bind, a vocal score to be compared with the full score before it goes to the printer, and some DEAREST ENEMY work to finish up.

TOD:
DVD:  The Good Companions, The Advocate, Castle Season Two
CD:  Dearest Enemy, Britten Piano Concerto, A Time For Singing, Guy Haines
   VCR: Smut

Good morning, all.

Coffee.  Coffee.  And more coffee.

Which could have been three posts, but hey.  Why hog them all for myself?

Thanks to all for the positive comments on the interview.  Very nice to hear.....

DR DOUG R - I like Patrick Hamilton as well, the play was known as Angel Street on Broadway, and I am not sure why the title change.....but the script is titled Angel Street as well.  I was reading that Hamilton was badly disfigured when he was struck by an automobile in 1932 although he continued to write.

He wrote the screenplay adaptation of his play ROPE for Alfred Hitchcock.

In a way, it seems more like a couple of years!  Can it really only be last June - ten months ago - that BK, DR Elmore, DR Ben, DR FJL, E&T DR Producer Julie, and some singin' gal named Sandy Bainum had our first get-together??

Full moon.

My phone conversation last night took care of me.

Sometimes I just have to be brave and say what I need to.

Full moon.
