My son and I sat outside and watched the mockingbird feed the fledglings.

http://www.andthisiswhatisaw.net/2013/04/hungry-baby-mockingbird.html

The babies are very loud. And the second after the parent drops the bug in that big open mouth, the baby starts crying again for more.

Beautiful photo, at least it was once I clicked on the photo and enlarged it.

The bus rides home were horrid: two young people, a couple for whom English was a second language, took up four bus seats with their fat asses and their bags and crap making it unpleasant on a crowded bus, so I transferred to a104, and had to deal with obnoxious kids and their apathetic parents or nannies who don't care that their little preciousnesses, all deserving to be made into rugs, don't sit srill, stop kicking and stepping on the passengers about them. Good thing I don't carry a gun.

Back from lunch - fun.  We are indeed announcing our new CD on Monday so now I have to write the blurb.

The Merry Maids cleaned on Tuesday.  I really thought they should have been singing or whistling or at least acting a little merry

We had the Women's Power Lunch. 1400 mostly women as a fundraiser for scholarships for single parents.  The speaker was Elizabeth Smart.  She was really fascinating and inspiring.

Last night I went to see the tour of Rock of Ages.  It was so much fun.  I saw the show in Toronto years ago.  It was just as good last night, but they didn't hand out the flashlights to look like cigarette lighters.

I got very brave and let the barber in the building cut my hair.   I have a pretty basic cut and he's been telling me for years he'd be glad to cut it.  I just felt weird going to a barber, but he did a great job.

Mom and Dad were fine.  Still having lots of senior moments, but as my mother likes to say, they don't have them at the same time very often

Today we had to close early on account of the weather.    It's currently 74 degrees and sunny with hardly any wind.  After our long winter, it was time to enjoy the weather a little

To answer your question from yesterday, DR Laura, no I'm not going to Boston to see the final performance of Peter Pan.  I did think about going, but couldn't get a good airfare.  And I really should do some organizing around here.
