Well, you've read the notes, the notes were approved, and now it is time for you to post until the approved cows come home.

Good morning, all! In another hour I must be out of here and into midtown where I will meet Joe Deer of the Wright State Musical Theatre Program in Dayton, OH.  Joe was a performer who performed as a dancer and actor professionally on Broadway and elsewhere and he was a featured dancer with Lee Becker Theodore's  American Dance Machine, a company I really miss. He has a project to discuss with me.

After that, I will head for Toyland to continue my proof of ROBERTA before we send it to hte printer.

Good morning, all.

Stayed up too late but got some pretty nice sleep.

Heading out in a while to the wonderful Lafayette Theatre in Suffern (Succotash), NY, for the first of their spring series of Saturday morning Big Screen Classics.  Today it is JUDGMENT AT NUREMBERG in 35mm.

Where on Facebook, DR Jrand62?  Mind you, I know next to nothing about getting around on Facebook; I'm probably the most ignorant adult on the face of the planet when it comes to that.  But this isn't the first time someone has posted about something or other that I would "assume" is on some obvious (to me) page, and yet ..... it just isn't.

Good morning, all.

Today Fiesta ends for me with the Pooch Parade in an hour or so. Am looking forward to life getting somewhat back to normal and me being able to sleep a little more each night.

Carousel is being shown on pbs.org for those who didn't see it. It's 2:25, so I'll have to carve out a block of time to watch it. I hear the singing is great and, of course, so is the Philharmonic.

TOD:

Chipotle (except for the tortillas)
Popeyes
Texas de Brazil
Morton's

I also like a few local and regional chains, such as Perry's Steakhouse and Taco Cabana (open 24 hours and great at about 3 a.m.).

I've come back from putting the laundry in the dryers. Mr. Morelli is still ill. He finally went to the doctor and he has mild bronchitis. He is on antibiotics. We hope that will knock it out of him.

Saturday morning greetings!  Today I'm going to lunch at one local country club and dinner at another - la dee dah...

The luncheon is AAUW's April meeting and it's an author event with Dayton novelist Martha Moody.  We have about 50 reservations and it should be a nice affair.

The dinner is the gala banquet for the Middletown Historical Society.

Such a whirlwind...

Thanks for the birthday wishes DR TCB!

I am not sure if you will see this. But my personal problem with Russell Crowe in LES MIS (and I talked to a good friend who is obsessed with LES MIS and he thought the same thing) is that his voice just did not sound right.

I thought that Russell Crowe had a better singing voice than what I was expecting. And he acted the part well IMO. But he does not have the right voice for Javert. We are used to a certain powerful voice. And Russell Crowe was just distracting to me.

It was great to get a big name. And he was very capable of acting the role. Maybe if the movie wasn't sung through then it wouldn't have been such an issue.

TOD:

I used  to like Subway...until I started being gluten free.  Now, all I can eat are their salads.

Applebee's is okay and, since there are no NY style deli's in Austin, I like Jason's.  Their corned beef is about as good as you are going to get here.

I've never eaten in Subway. I used to notice them when travelling in various countries and about 10 years ago they opened in the U.K. Someday soon perhaps I'll make the big step and try them out  :)

Hmm, might said project bring you to SW Ohio, dear DR Elmore?
