Does anyone here actually know Scott Rudin?  This story of his clash with an innocuous story in the times is weird

When does the next show start, Chas?  is there one in the summer?  (Or not until fall?)

Matthew - From the posts (which referred to it), i feel like I missed some important event you had, but I can't find what it was!

My search skills are not what they once were  :)   but you know i always wish you good things!

THE ENFORCER is one of my favorite 2nd tier Bogart films.

I recall my Dad taking me to it on my 10th birthday at the Orpheum Theater in Seattle.

Incidentally, the wrong girl who is murdered (she's on screen for just a few seconds) was played by Susan Cabot, a former publicity client who was actually murdered by her son.

That tragic event was the inspiration for my screenplay, MATRICIDE.

I've heard rumors that a friend of mine was, or still may be, his partner, but I've never verified it.  I hear Rudin as an employer is a handful:

DR Ben, that Riddex commercial is one noisy mother!  I thank you and DR JRand62 for sending me the info on it!

Quite a link, Larry.  I see RUDIN AWAKENING as a title has already been taken, or I might use it.  LOL!

I thought Bretaigne directed The Wild One - he directed something - let's go find out what, shall we?

Well, I thought he'd had a career but apparently The Enforcer was IT.  He moved immediately into TV, directing The Thin Man, Hitchcock Presents, and lots of other series.

The new Broadway Radio Show has been uploaded for your pleasure.....this time we listen to the recordings of Andrea McArdle in celebration of her new live CD "70's And Sunny: Live at 54 Below."  We'll hear, of course, from ANNIE, as well as JERRY'S GIRLS, STATE FAIR, and LES MISERABLES and we'll hear some tracks from an unreleased solo CD from 2006 that I think you'll get a kick out of.  Enjoy!!!

Good news about Callie from DR CILLA LIZ.  Here's hoping the improvements continue.

DR CILLA LIZ did you get to watch the closings in the Arias case yet?  What you do you think the outcome will be?

Yes, I saw them.  I think Juan hit it out of the park and I really think it will be First Degree.  Could I be wrong? Of course, you never know what a jury will do or what will happen when they deliberate, but I really think he proved the case

I hate the calendar on this here site - that, too, will change.  Notes adjusted.

I don't get it.  It looks like a normal calendar to me, Sunday-Saturday.

I always seem to be a day off when looking at the calendar here, so something is screwy somewhere - it doesn't happen when I look at any other calendar.

To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we stopped for lunch at Taco Bell in Sidney, OH.  I had a Cantina Fresh chicken bowl (salad) which was quite good and not too far off my diet.
