Well, I must be off!  Thanks for all the birthday wishes!  I hope that I didn't miss anyone.  I'm going to my parents' for some pizza and Chocolate Lush and probably some card playing...pretty low key. :)

Be back later!

DR Doug, that sounds like quite a nice reunion! Did you say these were people you used to work with?

Vibes for tonight's show. Though I never feel that BK really needs them.

One of these fine days dear reader Jeanne will get off her ASS and come to a Kritzerland show - I do realize it would require her to drive OVER THE HILL but I'm sure she could do it if she tried.  She's only missed thirty-three of them.

Tonight is the season finale of TAR. As much as I would love to see an all women team win I find that the two all women teams are not that great.

DR DRUXY do you discuss Miss Susan Cabot in your new memoir?  And Diane McBain?

How was Susan to work with?  She always sort of seemed like a handful of weird in things others say in interviews about her....things said in passing....

Broken leg vibes for MR BK and CO - even the rude singer - for the show tonight....

I don't know why I can't see the show from here....I am definitely over the hill.

That's right Jeanne. We have regular get-togethers. This gathering included colleagues from Netherlands and Sweden. It's good keeping in touch with everyone.

I cannot get over the warm weather for the past week. It is glorious. 80sh and sunny. Love it.  I went on my bike today. So that makes it six out of seven days this week. There is such a difference at the lake. There are now leaves on all the trees. At the beginning of the week they were completely bare.

I am currently reading a book that came out this week by Lauren Graham (GIlmore Girls and Parenthood). It is called Someday Someday Maybe.

But one never knows.....she's not going to get off, she admitting killing him. That's something that didn't happen in the other high profile cases lately

Watching William Powell and Bette Davis in "Fashions of 1934," the movie that prompted one mother to write the essay, "I don't want my daughter to grow up to be a human harp."

Questions for DR Cillaliz:

1. Is it possible that if the jury deliberates a very short time that the verdict could be thrown out because they obviously didn't discuss all of the evidence long enough?

2. If she gets life in prison, would her case be appealed automatically, like it would if a death sentence is handed down?

So far after only a few days I am loving my Marpac sound conditioner/white noise machine.

That's great!  I don't think even this would cut the sound of the frogs in the pound-lol.  They really are fine except when we are watching tv or trying to talk.  Shutting the sliding door helps tremendously.

Last day of the weekend reunion. We went to some attractive gardens south of London. Walked around for a few hours and had a leisurely lunch.

It sounds like a lovely day.
