Sorry to hear about Callie Cil. Hope things work out for the best (banal I know but it's hard to come up with new phrases).

Thanks Ben. I'm hoping it's just a sensitive stomach from the antibiotics, which we've finished now. But I don't know.  I got in with the same vet who saw her last week.  He's sort of a partner with my vet. They have different offices, but are really one entity or something.  Anyway, I really liked him last week, so I'm glad I could get in with him. His office is a lot closer to my house and work, so maybe I'll end up switching.   Not sure about that yet

I did call my vet first and they couldn't get me in today, so it was no big deal to go to the partner

I am afraid that the cobblestone and brick streets and sidewalks, here in Iceland, make it difficult to travel in my wheelchair. I thought of taking a cab, but we won´t go there.

Well, take the front desk clerk's offer of help with "anything" and make him drive you around.

Has anyone noticed that I have avoided typing the name of the city in which I am staying?

Have you avoided pronouncing it, as well?

Good morning, all.

In the middle of a six-hour meeting.

Callie vibes.

Loved Attack of the 50 Foot Womam. Grittier and sluttier than I remember it being. Boozier and blowsier, too. Great B movie making.

It is all that and more DR JOHN G.  My favorite moment is when the television news man starts talking directly to Allison and addressing her personal problems....as so often happens, don't you know.....

And the esteemed Robert A. Harris has chimed in on the new Great Escape transfer and given it the same high marks as I did in the notes today.  Looks like the know-it-alls have once again done their dirty work to no purpose.  Thus it has been, thus it will always be.

Very touching obituary for beloved actress Jeanne Cooper, including a tweet from Corbin Bernsen

From DR Chas:
Quote
I concur (with a nod to Frank Abagnale) -- with Danise and everyone else.  As I read that I kept saying to myself, oh my god, oh my god, horrible, horrible.  But like DR Jane said (I think it was Jane), be sure to state your reasons calmly and clearly and reasonably.

Not my comments as I thought she had already stated her reasons well enough. :)
