Thanks, George, for taking a photo noting the milestone!!!

You're welcome!  I'm sorry that I wasn't there for the exact "20000" moment...I could "fake" one for you, if you'd like. ;)

Thank you to DRs John G and George for the website vibes.  I've expected to have OrgSites go POOF! for a long time, so this didn't really come as a surprise.  We've been thinking about using the AAUW national web services, so I've already put that into motion for our branch site.  They may even be able to fold the book group site into it.  Waiting to hear from Megan, the tech support person we'll be working with...

SURVIVOR FINALE COMMENTS

Did anyone watch the finale of Survivor last night?

I was kind of amazed at who won.

I did watch.  I was actually more surprised at who was med-evacuated from last night's show. That is a shame. Because I think he could have won. I was not surprised that of those 3 that the winner won. I mean that was obvious (even more so after the juror's questions).  I was  very happy with who won the viewer's choice (my fav). And the second choice was my 2nd fav. And I thought that they would be the top two choices.  I am curious if Eddie could have won if he was chosen. Would Malcolm/Andrea/Reynolds have voted for him. I really would like to know since jurors are often fickle.

Did a three-mile jog - must do it earlier because it is VERY hard to run in this heat.  Then I had a sandwich and no fries or onion rings, then I picked up no packages, then I had a nice conversation with the East Coast Singer - I'll be back in Washington for a couple of days on June 17.  Then we'll be recording her new album the third week of July in LA.

I believe we're fully cast - final cast member will confirm in the morning, but he thinks it's all fine.  And we have our guest star, the beguiling Susan Watson.

Good morning, all! I have to be to Toyland by 9:00 for the piano tuner, so I was out of bed at 6:00am, and I feel like the Walking Dead. I slept really poorly last night: I law awake in the dark for over 90 minutes before I finally fell asleep, then f4om around 3 to 4am I had  horrible anxiety attack over my future - or lack of one - if the foundation does indeed fall apart, as I fear,

Oy!

I am not liking the weather today. It is 35F with windchill and only getting up to high 40s.

That made me shiver.  Our temps dropped today to the low 60's.

It was warmer earlier when I went for my yearly dermatology check.  I didn't need anything removed, a real treat for me :)

TOD: The man who raped and killed my classmate's 8-year-old sister back in the 60s. He served a few years and got out.

That is shocking.  I would have expected life for this one. :(

Monday morning afternoon greetings!  I've been at my computer since before noon, but got distracted by an email that alerted me that the host for my book group's website could go bye-bye anytime.  Spent the last couple of hours saving much of it to my computer and printing black & white fast drafts for posterity.  We also use this host for our AAUW site, but we can turn that over to national (which we've been considering anyway).

Sounds like a lot of bother.

It sure does.

Just received the first draft of the audio adaptation of my stage play, HAIL ON THE CHIEF!

The Colonial Radio Theatre on the Air is going to do a full cast recording of it in July for release early next year.

Congratulations, Druxy!

Yes, CONGRATULATIONS!
