Had a two-hour meeting at Art's.  I had a mediocre turkey salad sandwich - what a waste of a meal.  But the meeting, depending on what transpires, could lead to something interesting.

Dinner was wonderful. My favorite, of course, was the marrow from the osso buco. But the white bean salad with  shrimp was no mean shakes either. Neither was the coconut gelato, the torte du vin, the polenta and the handmade pasta with truffle butter. (I may not measure my blood sugar in the morning.)

I didn't sleep well at all last night.  First I stayed up late watching tv, then there was a thunder storm, then my stomach was bothering me. Sheesh!  I did sleep in a little.  Glad I can sleep in tomorrow

Looks like another big round of weather coming overnight.  Looks nasty on the radar, but they are just predicting very heavy rain and some thunder.  I still don't like to go to bed when there is a nasty looking area on the radar

The coffee ice cream was to die for.  She made the custard chilled overnight, added 1/2 cup coffee then put it in her ice cream maker.  I'm going to have to try to make it because it was delightful

It was a burger and brat grill out so I made calico beans. There were two other kinds of beans too, completely different.  All tasty

There was not one dish that was blah.   All my friends know how to cook and we all know how to eat, lol
