I traced the Korman post back to the first person who posted it - unfortunately, that guy is not a "friend" so I can't give him what for. But other people gave him what for and that idiot thought it was funny that he'd posted such a stupid thing. And Facebook is littered with such idiots.

He was asking my advice about what I do when I see a stock or amateur production of my show and if I'm not thrilled with it. My advice was to be very supportive, say thanks, good job, and that's it. I have never offered criticism of anyone's productions of my stuff - that's not what they need to hear from the writer.

This week I saw both of my regular doctors. I was anxious to get their take on my injuries. Unfortunately, they both confirmed my assessment that not much more can be done, other than what I'm currently doing. This was one time when I'd rather be wrong; I'd like to hear, "Oh, we can take care of THAT!" The acupuncturist can help, though. LOTS of needles today.

The bottom line is that I sprained both ankles and both wrists, and dislocated my left ankle as well. The ones on the right were garden-variety (stage I) sprains; the ones on the left were stage II, with torn ligaments. None of this was any surprise; I've torn ligaments before--same ankle--and was pretty sure that's what had happened.

Driving is uncomfortable and stairs are still a challenge. Today I hired a senior ride service to take me to acupuncture. That worked out quite well. Parking there can be difficult and I often must walk a couple blocks, which of course is not very doable at the moment. She dropped me off, then found parking. On the way home we stopped at Trader Joe's and she helped me buy some groceries. It wasn't cheap, was it was both needed and very helpful.

I am making lots of typos today, most of which I think I've caught. I have bandages on both wrists, which doesn't help my typing any. Maybe I should leave the typos in for the sake of character.

When I've gotten that message, I hit "Preview" to reset it, and then "Post." That has worked for me. I haven't tried just hitting "Post" again.
