For those who enjoyed Michael Musto's La Dolce Musto column at the Village Voice, it's the end of an era. But he's now landed at Out:

DR Doug R - I pray that Prague does not flood, and that you are able to stick to your schedule and get there. I've never been, but I hear that it is beautiful!

Darn!  Amazon now lists the Blu-ray of "At Long Last Love" as "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."  I placed my order when it said that it would be shipped on June 4. :'(

Also, the list price was $23.99 and I ordered it (with the Amazon pre-pub price guarantee) when it was only $17.29.  I'm not going to cancel my order.  When it becomes available again, I'd better get it at $17.29 or less.

This is a quick visit while our company are relaxing after working out this morning.  I burned off the fewest calories since I only walked today.  The wife went to the Y with Keith.  I walked outside, a nice treat for me, on the walking path while the guy friend jogged.

Monday afternoon greetings!  Nothing life-threatening or earth-shattering, but I'm not having the best day.  My mood is not good and I've just returned from a hell-ish grocery shopping trip.  In about 40 minutes Richard and I are going to the Y, where I'll take out my frustrations on the treadmill and NuStep and try to return here in a better frame of mind.

DR singdaw - It would indeed be a terrible tragedy for Prague to suffer flooding as it did in 2002, when a huge amount of damage was done to the historic center of what, as you rightly say, is a beautiful city.

DR Ginny, I'm sorry! Did something bad happen at Kroger's? Is it the collision of stars and planets?  Was it my threat to retire to Ohio and live off my small Social Security, pension, and the kindness of the few friends I have there?

I hope the day improves.

On another bizarre note, in December I got a Christmas card from the Macbeths and last week they sent me my high school graduation photo in my dad's possession when he died. What's that line about Greeks bearing gifts?

Also, has anyone had a problem with  this site's  "your session timed out"?  I'm surprised that this has happened to me several times now.

My sister in Germany lives about two hours from the Bavarian town that flooded. She also lives on a river. I've got a message in to see how bad it was where she lives, but I haven't heard anything yet.

Speaking of former DRs...what has become of DR Karen and DR Cason? I don't think they are even on Facebook any longer, at least not that I have noticed. I hope they are ok.

Had a sandwich and no fries or onion rings and have been hard at work whittling down the song list - I think I've got it now, and special thanks to elmore for mentioning Lock Up Your Daughters - I think we'll do When Does the Ravishing Begin - it's a very short song, so I'll pair it with something nice.  We're fully cast save for one guy (what else is new?) - had to toss some nice songs, but it's all about structure and what plays best for us and the cast.  I do believe we've also found our guest star - it's a short set right now thanks to one duet, so I may find a second guest.

Well, I must go to bed...but I've finished all the "Behind the Candelabra" DVDs, so I'll send them out today.  Just to confirm, the people who've asked for them are BK, Druxy, John G., Arnold M. Brockman and Kate.  And I also have "Carousel" for Laura.

DVDs have been sent!  Let me know if you don't get them.

Also, has anyone had a problem with  this site's  "your session timed out"?  I'm surprised that this has happened to me several times now.
Larry, when you log in, do you log in at the bottom of a page and specify a time to stay logged in, or do you log in at the top of the page where one of the drop-down box options is "forever"?  I never log out, so I never have to log in...on my home computer, at least.

Our guest star is definite - eight years young Tony Tanner - he replaced Tommy Steele in Half a Sixpence on Broadway and will be singing its title song.  He also starred in the 60s film version of Stop the World, with Millicent Martin.  Should be fun!

DR George,  I believe I'm permanently logged in, but I think it's a posting thing about taking your time between typing the message and clicking on "post." I often start a post, go look something up, and then finishit, and I'm wondering if that delay kills it.
