I've been in a technological void for at least an hour.  My turntable doesn't turn anymore, I'm thinking it needs a new belt, my AT&T U-verse isn't wanting to work on my TV, it keeps spinning like it's looking for something.  I think the DD and I are going to abandon the cave for a while and head over to moms for the evening.

I too am enjoying the LARGER avatars.  Very nice.

DR GINNY you are doing great work......remind yourself and pat yourself on the back now and then.

DR JANE - was that an auto accident your cousin was in?

Yes.  From what I have been told it was horrific and they are lucky to be alive.  The truck, along with the trailer it was pulling, were blow off the side of a ravine and rolled 3 times.  The father, my cousin's husband who was driving, is feeling terribly guilty he caused it.  His wife, my cousin, is lucky her knee wasn't broken along with the 3 other breaks.  It will be a few months before she can walk.  The son had a bad concussion but will be fine.  The daughter is in a neck brace with a broken vertebra & her boyfriend broke a couple of ribs & had a collapsed lung but will be fine.

The neighbors and friends have organized a personalized meal on wheels and offered other help to care for the family.

The answer to the feeling better is unknown to me now - I hope so is the answer, but with drilling and grogginess I have no clew.

Yep, the old one is definitely better than the one I found this morning.

Ron, do you know what movie that's from? It sounds like Billie Burke but I doubt it's her.

That's Carol Kane as the Ghost of Christmas Present from "Scrooged".

Is that about Jack Wagner?

No, it's about several operas I've slept through. Nothing like Wagner for insomnia!

The same thing might be said about Jack.

Back from some exhausting time with Mom.

Wondering if I've done the right thing to enlarge my avatar...

My appendix attacked me at the tender age of eight.  At this moment I can't think of anyone else in my family who's had theirs removed.

I've written many appendixes, none have ever attacked me..I'll beware!

I think the problem with the photos was the link. Can you see this one now?

Since I'm stuck home waiting for delivery, I decided I would do laundry and all hell is breaking loose at the laundromat. The Downy Fabric Softener people have taken over the place; there are decals all over the floors, every washer has a big Downy poster stuck to it facade, photographers are going crazy, the ratio of people is one customer to about five Downy ladies in white uniforms offering to do your laundry - and pay for it - for you. What they were not prepared for was my bad attitude about unsolicited favors and unwanted hoards.

It's timing out in less than five minutes, BK!

They would do your laundry AND pay for it?  Where is the downside to that?

I was wondering the same thing

For the time being, I will be an old Bollywood poster.

That is my favorite avatar of MBarnum.
