In this house we had a problem with ground squirrels under the house.  We purchased a couple of traps and drove them far away from home.  Keith waited by the car (not wanting to leave it) on remote roads while I released the squirrels.

Trapping and releasing isn't fun but it is better than killing & much better than having them scurrying around the house.

I was having a nice nap when I learned that the neighbor's weed whacker makes a great alarm clock...

Off to dinner with friends. Am almost too tired to stay awake.

Probably for the best or you might not be able to sleep tonight.

I still have a live trap. I would have helped you trap the relocate the raccoon if I lived near you.

Had a turkey sandwich and I decided to have a treat and had a small side of onion rings - haven't done that in four months.  They were quite good.

Richard learned a long time ago not to use that line to wake me up from a nap...

Just tried to grow up, avatar-wise, and discovered that you can't modify your profile from an iPad.

I like this photo of you & am glad the iPad didn't work so we can keep it a little while longer.

As I posted last year, I believe, I once looked forward to the Tony Awards, but the further I get from working on Broadway,!

Larry, whatever its commercial fate was, FINIAN'S RAINBOW was widely considered an artistic success.  Maybe the next artistic success will also be a commercial success.

And I still can't believe that it wasn't a bigger commercial success.  Personally, i would have gone to see every performance, just to see Cheyenne!

I hope my sister is currently enjoying her birthday present.  Her birthday is not until the 19th, but a couple of months ago she said that she wished she could see the New York Yankees play against the Seattle Mariners.  She has never been to Safeco Field in Seattle, which is one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country.  So, I bit the bullet and bought her tickets for she and her husband.  I won't mention how much they cost, but I could have gotten a couple of good seats on Broadway.  The good part is that you don't have to worry about the game being rained out, because it has a retractable roof that can be closed anytime the weather turns bad.

I am sure your gift is very much appreciated.  Not getting rained out is great!

That sounds funny hearing about BK obsessing over everyone's calories. I think the skinny girl should eat what she wants! :)

I personally never try to lose weight by calories. I try to do lots of exercise and eat healthy (lots of fruits and veggies, no desserts/snacks/junk food).

My dad does that with ground squirrels.  One time he was driving one out into the country and it got loose in his van.  He said all he could picture was the squirrel going up his pant leg.  He was able to stop the car, find the squirrel and get it out of the van, but I really wish I could have seen the look on his face when he realized the trap was empty

Aw thanks.  The traps are all outside. it got in the walls, not the attic, so there was no way to put a trap there.  Traps are empty so far, hoping that we get one tonight.. Also hoping it's not a female giving birth in the walls of my house.  I don't even want to think about that

Finally watched on Movies on Demand, Anna Karenina.

I thought it was very good and had a interesting format.  I also watched the original version about
a month ago and enjoyed that also.

Such a sad story though.
