I don't know that this will be quite as successful as an avatar, but you can try it.

DR Jane, right click to save this on your computer, then upload it under your profile settings.

Jane, I've also cropped the image to show your slip (I did have to cut your feet off, though

) to make it the correct 110x150 ratio. It's just not smallerized. The HHW Board magic will resize it if you upload it for your avatar.

I just connected with someone on Facebook, originally from Wannetka, IL, who just told me that 30 years ago, when I worked at Theatre Books, "You gave me a great long-distance musical-theatre education."

I was quite moved by that.

What I was doing:
right click on the pic and saving it to my desktop
Modify Profile
Forum Profile
Upload an avatar (which I did from the desktop)

To succeed I clicked on "quote"
copied the URL & pasted it in the forum profile instead of uploading.

Shouldn't both ways have worked?
