Except this - we had a lovelier than lovely time at the San Mateo County Fair last night.  It was quite the affair, and definitely one to remember.

DR Matthew - were you by any chance an Adventurers Club aficionado?  I sure was.  I mourn its demise whenever anything makes me think of it.

Is there a full moon? People on the streets seem particularly insane today.

And while I'm howling at the moon, why is it a person of either sex believes their avoirdupois small enough to fit their huge ass into the single seat next to you, when they clearly need two seats?

DR ChasSmith - I didn't know much about the Adventurers Club until it closed.   I'd only been to WDW once or twice before that happened.  I heard it was delightful.  Once in a while, the cast will get together in other venues around WDW and do a show.  I believe they are also available for hire.  The whole Pleasure Island concept is gone to make way for more "Family Friendly" entertainment and they were going to do something new with that space, but recently they stopped talking about it.  I'd only been to Pleasure Island once and that was a long time ago.  It's sad that it's no longer there, I thought the concept was great.

Wednesday morning greetings!  All kinds of predictions for severe weather today, but it looks like the worst of it will be north of us.

Today is the nifty fiftieth birthday of my DN Laura, who was with me in NYC for DR PennyO's show back in 2005:

THE BROTHERHOOD OF SATAN:

Wasn't Ahna Capri in that one?

She was my former client; a nice lady who was killed a couple of years ago in a car accident.

She's probably best remembered as the leading lady in ENTER THE DRAGON with Bruce Lee.

AMAZON SALE!

I just noticed that Amazon currently has a 10% off sale going on for all 10 plays in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection.

Normally priced at $7.50 each, they are now listed at $6.75.  And, the anthology of all 10 plays is currently marked down 17% to $20.67.

I have no idea how long this sale will last, but if you were planning to purchase any of these titles in the future, now might be the time.

Today is the nifty fiftieth birthday of my

"Today is my ninety-fifth birthday...".    :o

The mystery track is the main title from a 1950's outdoor adventure produced at Fox and
composed by Alfred Newman.  Okay, BK, how far off am I?

Other than 1950s and outdoor adventure, completely wrong :)

ASK BK

Have you ever seen any of your performances dub into another language and if you have what did you think of the dubbing?

Well, I did my own Spanish dubbing on a commercial, so that was perfect.  I watched a bit of the German dub on Spaceship - it was amusing on some level.  And I think I've seen some episode of something I've done dubbed into French - can't remember what, though.

Sandy is playing one of the wives in Company - nothing major.  Is it possible for any Washington reviewer to actually give a Signature production a bad review.  Even the awful production of Hello, Dolly! directed by its artistic director was for the most part at least given a pass in every review I read.

Worker is here (the team hasn't been here in some days - just one guy now, occasionally two).  The nice thing is I don't need to unlock the doors for them now, so I did sleep until eight-thirty.

Last night I could see that twelve spambots were attempting to register accounts - not a one got through!  Yay us, and die spambots.
