That's funny!  Have you seen this one?  I can't remember if someone here had posted it or if I found it on Facebook...either way, it's a hoot!:

And I am home! I had hoped to be out of Toyland by 1:30,but by the time I finished up the vocal score edits and tidied up for Friday, it was 2:30.  There's an unwritten law that as soon as I leave the building on 27th Street and head for the bus stop, the bus comes and I miss it trying to cross Sixth Avenue.  So, I had to wait for the next bus, and then at Broadway and 60th I kept wondering where the hell the 104 buses were. Now I know: 8th Avenue has been closed off because of attempts to rescue stranded window washers hanging off the 46th floor at 57th Street.

Now . . . a trip to the post office. There must be a full moon!

Jane sure goes to bed early.  She never did back when I first knew here and she was fifteen.  She could actually stay up till eight or nine back then.

 :D

I remember late night calls that often kept me up way past nine back then.  The advantage of a father who needed a separate phone for patients and older siblings who where out of the house, I had my own phone.

That is creepy. Definitely don't accept him.  Some people are creepy. While others just probably friend everyone they come into contact with. Either way you don't know him, and since he can't even spell ... well I would click ignore.

I wasn't going to accept even before receiving the "odd" message.  I have plenty of other people I haven't accepted that I actually have a nice relationship on FB through groups or friends.  If I wanted more friends they would be way ahead of this guy.  Basically I'm only accepting people I personally know or have known in my youth.

As for "ignore".  I can "hide" him from my page and only "ignore" if I click on his page and see his invite.  I don't get it.

I'm sure she is not actually going to bed. Probably just closing down her computer or reading.

Yup, computer is off.  Keith likes to watch something and then later we read.  My problem is that I continue to read long after Keith is asleep.

That guys email to me followed a post on that site that complimented the spelling, proper punctuation, and grammar of us children of the 60's & 70's.

Jane, did you watch the original "Lost Horizon" recently? The library copy came in while I was on vacation, so I haven't been able to watch it until now. Anyway, just wondering what you thought of the dialogue between Thomas Mitchell and Edward Everett Horton. It seems like Mitchell is trying to pick up Horton, or Lovey, as he calls him, every time they talk.

I didn't pick up on that, maybe because I watched the movie right after reading the book.

I beg your pardon!

Generally speaking, IMHO.  When was the last time your rent was raised?  Considering how many years you have lived in your place you should be appreciated.

DR Jane if you go on your facebook page and click on the top left icon (the one with the people) you will see a list of all your friend requests. You can "confirm" or "delete request".
