Did you hear about the Georgia woman who had 3 million dollars deducted from her bank account?  Boy, I don't always balance my check book, but that is ridiculous.

Actually, Tom, she had three-HUNDRED-million taken out of her account!! :o

Did I miss the part where they say how much she had in each account to begin with?  How can they deduct more than she had!?!

That is what they call "being overdrawn."

I can actually understand alarms NOT going off with the book, but all that money-lol

When I worked in a bank after we were married there was a department that called customers when they had an overdraft.  There was a list they worked from each morning that printed out from the day before.

They stopped offering that service many years ago.  I read the other day that overdraft and other fees account for something like 60% of the earnings for a bank.

TCB:  I did not have to go potty or make wee-wee.  I think I was impatient for my mom to snap the photo.  She was always making me pose for her camera.

but who were they giving the money to?  I how could they still be deducting such huge sums?  If my bank account was over drawn the bank would not honor any checks or debits -

I'm getting really tired of this.  The cats get nervous which makes me nervous and that makes the cats nervous etc.   Last night they woke me up over and over and over.   I really need to catch this raccoon or I'm going to go totally looney

I guess there is no way to set the trap inside the attic?

Apparently that doesn't work, not sure why, but pretty consistent that it doesn't.  I did find another possible wildlife removal service when I checked the internet tonight.  I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if they will actually go in the attic and see what's up there.     I think the raccoon is out for the night....so it should be quiet until about 5:00 AM when it comes back.  Unless it's had babies.....

Leave a twenty dollar bill out for the raccoon.  Maybe he will get so drunk that he won't be able to find his way back home.

One of my FB friends just posted this recipe and for some reason it made me think that TCB would like it - could be just because of the name....

APPLE ANGEL DUMP CAKE

INGREDIENTS:

1 CAN APPLE PIE FILLING
1 BOX ANGEL FOOD CAKE MIX (DRY)
SUGAR
CINNAMON
CARAMEL (OPT)

DIRECTIONS:

MIX THE DRY ANGEL FOOD CAKE MIX WITH THE APPLE PIE FILLING, POUR INTO A GREASED 9X13 CAKE PAN, SPRINKLE WITH CINNAMON AND SUGAR.
BAKE AT 350@ FOR 20-30 MINUTES.
DO NOT OVER BAKE, CAKE IS DONE WHEN BROWNED ON TOP BUT NOT COMPLETELY SET.
( IF USING A GLASS PAN BAKE AT 325@)

REMOVE FROM OVEN AND SERVE WITH A DOLLOP OF COOL WHIP.
ALSO GREAT WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM AND CARAMEL.

I wonder if it would work with cherry filling?

I believe it was the government that was trying to debit the account.  In this case it was only three withdrawels, each for one hundred million.  Just because you don't have the money in your account, doesn't mean you don't owe the money.  In this case of course, it is an error.

Tom, did you see the Angel "Dump" Cake recipe?

Yes, I did, but I am still wondering if it would work with cherry or even lemon.  Of course, if it is called an Angel Dump Cake, I should probably use chocolate pudding.

The newscast said that it only reached 70 degrees today.  It seemed a lot warmer than that when I was out today, but I didn't go outside until later than usual.

Home after an opening night.  Got the last great parking space.  Not is love with the play itself, although it has its moments - it goes all Pirandello or Twilight Zone at the end and that, for me, didn't work at all.  Actors are fine, production is fine.
