I'm up, barely.  Still not eight hours of sleep, but almost.

I thought my computer was a goner.  It shut off for updates and then I couldn't get back on for about an hour.  My earlier posts were from my mini i-pad.  Anyway, the computer seems to be working now.   It's so much easier typing on a full-sized keyboard!

Tuesday.

I have indeed been cast as Man in the Chair for the August production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE....ALL THOSE LINES!!!  So we shall see how it goes.  The other cast members are good, so it should be a lot of fun, anyway.

But first - ANGEL STREET.

TOD:

Comcast changed something earlier this year....and my computer could no longer use Windows Mail.  WM is a PopMail service so that all of my email at my main Comcast.net address was sent to it.  Comcast Mail has a terrible configuration, so I wasn't going to use that as my main email, and I hated to change to a Gmail or Yahoo account....

NOTHING and NOBODY would or could help me at Comcast.  It was a nightmare.  I used the Comcast email for awhile.....and then finally found Mozilla Thunderbird which was a PopMail service that was compatible with Comcast.net.

It was ghastly I tell you.  I was just ghastly.

Another day of frustration and misery! The last two hoursa have been unpleasant and I'm afraid there's nothing good in sight.  I supposedly have a team of people on ROBERTA so where the fast hell are they? I suppose with the current state of things, they're all running for other opportunities and I'm left holding the bag.

Now I have to schlep down to Pearl Paint on Canal Street, and of course there's no easy way from Toyland. Someone just shoot me.

I thought things were supposed to get easier the older I got.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I have a surprise at-home day because my lunch plans with my successor at the library have been delayed a week.  Looking forward to puttering.

Dental vibes for Mike

Well my tooth has gotten worse and they could not do the crown. So now the teeth cleaning at endodontist is going to be something different. More work that I cannot afford. A lot to do with the medications I take. :-(

Today Me and My hubby will continue our mission of clearing out our Florida Room.

We have downsized to a mobile home and are still condensing and getting rid of things.

I am determined to get it done so we can enjoy our summer in our room.

My friend just finished playing the role up in Canada. I thought it was a perfect role for him. As it is for you I'm sure.

I know Jane and Jennifer are avid readers.

May I recommend The Paris Wife.

My girlfriend gave it to me for my birthday.

I just started to read it and I love it.

It is loosely based on Ernest Hemmingway and his wife.

I enjoyed this week's MAD MEN episode with the exception of the return of one completely charisma and talent-free actor who happens to be related to the show's creator.

Went to the mall for a few things and picked up a couple of bargain Blu-rays at HMV. Since Hilco purchased HMV many of their prices are now cheaper than buying on-line.
