Well, it's time for me to leave.  I'm off to the second night of auditions for the murder mystery show (I don't remember the title).  Be back later!

Good Evening Everyone:

 TOD:

There was a small Mom And Pop Store in our neighborhood.

They had a Soda Fountain shop in the back of the store.

They had delicious Hot Fudge Sundaes and Chocolate Sodas.  ( The Best Ever)

We used to make our own Chocolate Sodas.

In a large glass put Nestles Quick and milk(About a quarter of the glass)

Add 2 to 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream.

Then add Club Soda till the glass is full.

DELICIOUS!!

Only problem is I don't
 think they sell Nestles Quick Anymore!

Since I'm not a big fan of hot fudge sundaes the Brown Derby wasn't a big deal to me.

Good evening again to all,

DR Ron Pumman - glad you enjoyed the memories.

And DR Jane, I don't know Ivyland, but I know the area near New Hope is beautiful. My family is mostly still in and around Glenside, so I always head to the Keswick curve when I go home to visit. it's one of those places that still looks a lot like it did when I grew up there.

Druxy and I had what was for me a memorable visit with Mr. Matheson - I got him to sign two of my first editions of his books.

So, Cillaliz, are you sure it was a raccoon? It might have been this red panda, which looks like a raccoon to me. He escaped from the National Zoo.

What do you think of my hat for the Royal Ascot...    Too much?

No, but I would pitch that dress.  It makes you look fat.

I LOVE hot fudge sundaes.  I went out to get one tonight and ended up with a smoothie.  Less calories, but not nearly as fun

And he originally came from Nebraska - probably the Omaha Zoo, it's one of the best.

I do think the Red Panda is adorable.  I heard he is actually related to the raccoon family and not to the Giant Panda

When I was growing up our phone number began with LY 7-

LY = Lyceum

When we moved to Mooresville it was VE 1

VE = Vernon

Our first number in Tacoma was PR - 8  PR= Proctor

Our next number was SK - 9  SK = Skyline

I took cat Freddy to the vet on Friday and he was put through all kinds of tests, pokes, and prods. He has gone from 13 lbs to 7 lbs over the last year but the tests did not show anything out of the ordinary as far as kidney problems, thyroid, and what not.

The doctor suspects cancer is likely, but as Fred is 14 years old, not much sense in tormenting the poor guy with more tests, not to mention the nasty treatments.

Doc gave me some pills to help with his appetite, and so that has improved. He won't drink water out of his dish any longer. Nor will he drink out of the toilet (which had become his favorite drinking spot over the last few months, for some reason). Fred will now only drink out of the bathroom sink faucet. Very odd.

Anyway, thank you all for the vibes.

I know how hard this is Mike.  We are all here for you.   [[[[Mikey]]]]
