You know, knowing it's disc on demand and knowing what these sell in that format, it's just shocking they won't license out like Capitol and let someone do these properly, as properly pressed CDs for the discerning collector.  They'd make more on the licensing fee than they'll ever make doing these as CD-Rs.

I'd love a CD of the "Berlin to Broadway" cast album.
I'll take it and Oh, Coward. And raise you a Cole and a One Mo' Time.

As regards the notes about HELP! I saw it when it first came out with my then girlfriend and we both thought it total self-indulgent adolescent rubbish so I have no interest in ever seeing it again!

Well, since BK is sad that DR Laura has not been posting any wildlife pictures, I will see what I can do about taking her place for the moment being.

Here is the common Praying Mantis which anyone might find in their garden.

Bunny rabbits, cute and cuddly, are known to be the friend of all children. The snap shot is a good example of this adorable phenomenom.

Of course as children, we have all at one time or another tried to catch frogs. As adults, we have likely even kissed a few. However, it is not common knowledge that hanging around frogs during meal time can should be avoided as they are messy eaters.

I love that old HMV logo. In fact, HMV are moving back into the original store where they started from in Oxford Street, London, where I used to send time browsing in the early '60s during my lunch hours when I first started work near Oxford Street.

Spider webs can be a work of art and if you come across them try not to disturb as it might be feeding time for this insect, and you certainly don't want his food to escape.

The sky has darkened and it's about to rain here.  It is ungodly(ly) muggy, so perhaps that will help to lower the humidity.

On the other hand, it's supposed to rain on and off all evening, which would cancel tonight's show.  I just hope that if it's cancelled, it's done so before I shlep the keyboard, etc., out to the "tent" and set up.

Oh yes, and we know why DR Jane liked THE LAWMAN so much!! Two words: Peter. Brown.

She still giggles like a school girl when you say his name around her.

You are sooo right :)    Watching the re-runs recently I more than agree with my childhood self.  He was very good and I don't know why he didn't work more in later years.  Watching Clint Walker in re-runs, and on THE JACKY BENNY SHOW we are amazed he didn't end up a big movie star.

I find it interesting (again, speaking as one who doesn't know from Westerns) that High Noon is always touted as one of the prime examples, yet I don't think I've seen it mentioned by any DRs here today.

High Noon was a wonderful film, however, we are talking about tv westerns.

I believe it's about 100 degrees out - won't jog before four, maybe five, so it can hopefully cool off a bit by then.

Back from bacon and eggs and toast oh my.  Picked up no damn packages and gave the motor car a well deserved and much needed bath.  My timing was perfect - I was the only one there but as soon as they pulled my car into the actual wash part, suddenly there were about fifteen cars lined up.

Since adding the three questions to the captcha, not a registration in sight.  If that continues to work, I may put the captcha back to medium hard, because I really don't know how anyone could figure it out, save for the spam bots who do nothing all day but find out how to get around these things.  My hope with the three questions is that it will make their little spam bot heads explode like Scanners.

Hello Everyone:

TOD:

Bonanza (Hand's Down)  I had such a crush on Pernel Roberts, Also Michael Landon
The Big Valley (Major crush on Peter Beck )  Also Lee Majors
Maverick ( Crush on James Garner

LOL, Sometimes I did enjoy the Stories!!

LOL Kate.

I too had a big crush on Michael Landon and  on Lee Majors.

I was very excited to watch the first episode of Big Valley as one of my favorite actress's, Barbara Stanwyck of course, was starring in a western.  From the 1st moment I loved the show.  I liked all of the cast.  Not only did I find Major's appealing I liked the name Heath.  I might have considered it for one of our boy's name if it didn't rhyme with Keith.

Keith always reminded me of Lee Majors.

How on earth could I forget The Lone Ranger, my top favorite growing up - never missed an episode.  I also loved Have Gun, Will Travel.  One of my school mates, Barry Glasser, who I went to grammar school with, his father worked on that show and I was given an actual Have Gun, Will Travel - Call Paladin business card.

Cool.  Do you still have the card?

The Lone Ranger was a good one.

Thursday afternoon greetings from Barnes & Noble in Champaign/Urbana, Illinois!  We are about an hour from my niece's, but she has to work for another two.  We'll spend some time here, browsing and drinking coffee before proceeding to Bloomington/Normal.
