I am glad you got to watch TMM, DR SINGDAW....it is a most excellent movie.  I am still trying to "get" 1776, the charms of it have always escaped me.

It could be because William Daniels is on my list of actors who make me cringe.

1776 was my first Broadway experience and I also was part of the crew for the month long performance of 1776  at my college the July of 1976 so the show and movie are special to me because of the fine memories  resurrected while watching

That's because he's obnoxious and disliked. Did you know that?

you know that's true

Vixter went out to work at the Deal$ store early and was home by time I was out of the shower - she went to eat with us and then we dropped her home and Vixdada dn I carried on to my folks where we helped defrost a freezer, sorted out a steam mop fiasco and Vixdad  picked up a lamp that needs fixing

The mop just suddenly stopped working  I called the 800 # got a lovely American  girl on the phone  (on the 4th of July!)  She tried a couple of trouble shooting ideas and then when it still would not work had me read the ID# from the plug - then she said for $1.00(+ state tax of 9 cents) payable by credit card she would email me a postage paid return UPS return label and send out a brand new mop!

I already have the label and the confirmation email for the replacement due to be delivered in 7 - 10 business days!

I was MORE than pleased with the service - I was ready to go out and plop down $100 for a replacement mop

Yes the upgrade was without charge to me.

We are rehearsing at 6 p.m. this evening - we should be done by 8:15 or so and will be home for the fireworks.....

Not a very exciting fourth for me.  I did 5 loads of laundry and ordered photos from my trip online. I later picked them up at Walgreens.   But.... I've really been enjoying watching the Tony Awards, commercial-free, on DVD--thanks to our own DR George!!  Thanks again, George!

My modem conked out about five times yesterday.  Each time, I would unplug the modem, let it sit for five minutes, and then I would plug it in again and it would be fine.  It used to do this about once a month, so it was no big deal, but now i think the modem is on its last leg.  Does a modem have more than one leg?  I really dread calling Century Link tomorrow, because I know that there Bollywood Service Department is going to put me thru all of their paces trying to prove that they know more about these things than the consumers.
