Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of three friends, and now it is time for you to post until the three cows come home.

So so glad to have "The Twelfth of Never." The simple arrangement is very effective, and what a wonderful vocal!!!

It's been very hot lately and it's a work day. The office has no air conditioning so it's going to be stifling there today.

Good morning, all!  I did not sleep well, but the only dream i can remember is something about joining a dating service and a lot of neuroses.

I have little else to report.  This morning, I will head to Toyland, print a full score for our producer, and bind it, if there's time. Otherwise, I will head to 42nd Street to catch the 1:00 matinee of one of the NYMF shows. My friend Laura is in it, and I will hopefully have coffee with her after the show.

It sprinkled last night (all 9 drops), but it still smells like rain this morning.  DR Laura says there might be rain today; we just got irrigation, and I watered the other plants, so that means there's a good chance we will.

Good morning, all.

Slept pretty much okay, which is good because I'd gotten a somewhat short sleep the night before.

And now ...........

Coffee!

I enjoyed hearing "The Twelfth of Never"....very nice.....

Teen age angst is my least favorite type of entertainment.  I can appreciate the songs today, but I can't enjoy them much.  And I feel VERY much like MR BK does about loading a soundtrack with familiar songs....the only good thing about it is that it makes a nice soundtrack CD.

ASK BK

Did you see the stage version of Sleepless in Seattle that played, I think, the Passadena Playhouse?

Greetings from Toyland! It is way too humid outside. The temperature isn't bad at the moment but I am soaking wet and hating it.

Wednesday morning greetings!  A good night's sleep was just what I needed after yesterday's dental procedure.  Today, I get to play in my kitchen, which needs a little rearranging to make room for my new Keurig coffee maker.

Good morning, all.

Lena Horne's singing Cole Porter right now, and all's right with the world.

Happy hump day vibes.

BTW, Kling Kling, I think your books link from last night had a mistake in it. The name of the novel is "The Scarlet Letter," not, I would guess, "The Scarlet A."

I am going to be singing the strangest memorial service on Saturday.
The family's musical requests include Schubert's "Ave Maria," alongside Cole Porter's "Night and Day."      :)

Apparently the deceased was an extra in The Gay Divorcee, so that is part of their tribute to him.

I was wondering about that one. Hester would not be pleased, I think.
