Bi-Mart figures into a lot of my recurring dreams, for some reason. Almost all of them have me working back at Bi-Mart as a temporary employee. I just show up and go to work, but then I begin to realize that I never look at the schedule to see if I am actually supposed to work that day or if I have been missing days that I was supposed to work and didn't realize it due to not looking at the schedule. Oddly enough, the store managers never mention anything about me missing work or being there on the wrong days.

I am quite curious what the Dream-O-Matic 3000 has to say about this recurring dream scenerio.

I had one mildly crazy dream, but nothing much out of the ordinary.  I think it conflated two of my standard dream themes.

Anyhoo, apropos of just about nothing, I was just thinking of Reuben sandwiches.  Haven't had one in quite a long time, so maybe that needs to be rectified.

And then I thought of Reuben's Restaurant/Deli in NYC -- the incarnation I remember of it being their East 58th Street location in the early 1970s.  Anyone here remember that one?  I was trying to find some pictures (especially of the interior) of that location (I know they moved around) and am coming up empty.

Reading between that lines, that means: Those two dreams indicate that DR MBarnum is a total whack-job. It is probably best if I just don't comment.

BTW, Kling Kling, I think your books link from last night had a mistake in it. The name of the novel is "The Scarlet Letter," not, I would guess, "The Scarlet A."

That also bothered me-lol

My hike didn't last as long as I expected.  At least I have had time to eat before I go to the eye doctor.  I need to do some work on the computer which I doubt I'll want to do later.

Indiana is just being...Indiana....

This is the state that spent hours of legislative time each year for over 20 years debating time zones.

This is the state that says that the loved ones of single persons who are unmarried and have no children cannot sue for wrongful death benefits....no matter the circumstances of the demise....even murder or accident....only surviving spouse or children are eligible for those benefits.

It is also the state that will NOT require gravel trucks or any other haulers to put tarps or covers on their trucks while they are on the highway....they are NOT responsible for broken windshields or any other damage.

I went to Bon Ton to get a gift for my friend Sandy's birthday.  We will celebrate Friday with the girls at Templeton Landing, an upscale restaurant, bar on the waterfront.
The weather should be nice.

The entertainment should be good.   Time to Party and Dance !!

I purchased an beautiful bracelet and a small box of Harry London chocolates for her.

I also treated myself to a purse (on clearance),(Franco Sarto).  Very stylish and a great price.

Also I purchased a beautiful  black lace sleeveless top.  Can be dressy or I can wear it with Jeans . It also was a great buy!  Marked way down, and I love it.

The clerk at Bon Ton (A department Store) keeps asking me when I will be putting an application in to work there.  I always tell her and the other clerks, I would spend all of my paycheck.  LOL

Last night I started to watch Now Voyager with Bette Davis.  I just love her and her movies.

After that, Dead Ringer came on.  I only watched a while as it was getting late, past midnight.

Oh, but that is one of the great perks of retirement.  No schedule!!

I enjoyed shopping when we lived in Michigan and I went to lots of events.  I would shop with my friends & by clothing to have for a day when I would need it.  Now I only shop for special events and it is stressful.

I guess I'm naive cuz I don't get it.   When we lived in Pennsylvania & I had to tell people to turn left at the Spread Eagle Inn they giggled.
